Another Booster

I'll probably have one anytime they come up with a new one. I've had no trouble with the boosters and I'd certainly not want to get Covid again. My niece has had it twice and the second time was worse.
Well, assuming your niece was vaxed, how did it help?
That's the issue we're having.

Actually, let's not forget the terrible deaths especially at the start, when no vaccines were yet available. A lot of people including doctors and nurses died horribly.

They died for other reasons though, especially including the horrible hospital treatments.
They couldn't have died from a virus, because there never has been and never will be a valid test for a virus.

I am nowhere near 75, but I don't care how many boosters they put out, I am not doing anymore than what I have had already. I have the two original injections and then 2 boosters and now I am done. I have had Covid twice and the reaction from the injections were worse than having the disease. I can tolerate a fever for a week or so and the other little quirks that go with it, but after I get a booster, I go down for at lest 3 days. If I had health issues, I may look a it differently, but I don't, so I won't.
Did it ever occur to you what having covid would have been like w/out having the jabs? Or perhaps the fact that you may have avoided long covid twice?

These measures have ensured that Covid has been contained and is now absent from the facility, at least for now. It is only by everyone pulling together that we can limit the damage that Covid can bring. Hopefully I won't see the mortuary ambulance parked at the nursing home very often now.

My approach to this pandemic is that it is not just about me and mine. It is also about concern for other members of the community.
Thank you.

Just curious. Some of you mean that the bodies in the meat trucks, the overflow in hospitalizations, and the shortage of iron lungs before the vacs was all in the medical community's imagination?

I'm not arguing the point one way or the other. Just curious if this had any truth to it or was all made up by the medical community and government. And there is an answer somewhere. It's a yes or no and we should all be privy to it and where the information comes from. Not just FOX or MSNBC viewers who are obviously full of s--t when it comes to an honest answer about most things.

I'm hoping we get another booster soon in this country, as well. From what I've read about it, the efficacy of the boosters tends to wear off after 6 months or so. The boosters are still effective, but not forever. Sort of like the flu vaccine most of us get every year.

I am delighted to be able to go out among people, minus a mask, and live a normal life. In my community of seniors, virtually everybody has been immunized, and covid is an unpleasant but mild infection. I shudder to think what it would have been like without the vaccine.

I have had 4 people in my circle of family and friends either die or about to die and all have had numerous jabs. And all under the age of 60. Two died in their sleep, one after having horrible pain and neurologic problems and one who just now got a dx of blood clots, pancreatic and liver cancer. All were either strong advocates for the vaccines or had to get them to continue employment. I said at the onset, that not enough time was given to create a safe vaccine and all who got it were guinea pigs. On the other side I have had people in my life who got the jab and have no problems. I am 71, obese with DM2 and took precautions against COVID and never contracted the disease. No jab for me!

Good for you. I do believe everyone who submitted to this was part of an experiment too. And it has been inconsistent results from the vaccines. Too much to keep forcing them on people.

I came down with Malaria while in Vietnam. I was in the hospital for 2 days and then returned to base to rest until my temperature returned to normal and then back to war. A few days later, I relapsed and followed the same game plan as the first time. After that, I was fine and did 2 tours in Vietnam. I haven’t been sick since then. I asked the doctor if there is any connection to me getting Malaria twice to never getting any illness since then. He said no, I have just been lucky. Is anyone really that lucky?

Maybe you've got really good immune system? You must have been vaccinated for malaria before being shipped to "Nam. Right?

I was given yellow fever, flu shot and cholera. I’m not sure about Malaria. They used a vacuum gun and they hit both arms at almost the same time.

I find the the vaccines(Moderna and Pfizer) have been very consistent. The disease which evolves and mutates and adapts at a frightening speed enabling it to evade the vax has led some to conclude the vax is not effective. While at this point the vax can't prevent all cases it surely has lessened the severity of the disease and reduced deaths.

The only thing they have been consistent at is failure as I see it.

Or a vaccine that either prevents the disease entirely for millions of people, or turns it into a pretty mild infection for most people. Success for a vaccine is measured by death rates, and hospitalization, both of which dramatically go down in vaccinated populations.

So, did that happen with covid? Yes? Then I would consider the vaccine very successful, compared with the horrors of 2020.

Until it was known for certain the vaccine was safe and effective like they claimed it was!
It is safe and effective, it just isn't perfect. The lives saved, and illnesses avoided have been monumental. Life returned to somewhat normal, but others seemingly would have been content to see the mass illness and death continue in pursuit of the unobtainable.

Is there any medical treatment or really any human endeavor that is 100% guaranteed safe and effective?

There were lives lost to vaccine injuries and disabilities from people and kids who took the vaccine and sometimes boosters too and they STILL haven't recovered yet two years later.

Ivermectin was indeed safe and effective at treating people with covid and it's been round for decades but those in charge shut down any one who even broached this as an alternative to the Mrna vaccines because this probably was less about saving lives than it was about driving profits for pharmaceutical companies and forcing people to comply with government dictates whether they agreed or not.
If it was genuinely about our health, they would have allowed people who couldn't get vaxxed for whatever reason to be treated with Ivermectin if they caught covid. They didn't and I have hard time believing this was all about peoples' health.
