Forty five mass shootings in US since New Year's Day, and still counting.
In Australia we count dead women.
8 (or is it 9 now?) killed in domestic violence incidents.
Finding solutions to these horrors is not easy, but we must keep trying.
Yes 100% proof a piece of paper saying keep away from me and the children means nothing more than a roll of toilet paper after the latest tragedy in your city .
@Warrigal
Man threw petrol into and set fire to car with three his young children and wife in it
killing them all
This tragedy was about 2 weeks ago in Sydney....no I didn’t want to add a link it’s been on the news everyday since the murder it’s upsetting to think any human could do this to their family
In the vast majority of cases of murder, excepting those caused by a serial killer, the victim knew his killer. In this episode of rampage, no motive has yet been given.Sadly, if these folks want a person(s) dead...they'll find a way.
In reply to your last sentence above.....most killing is by family. "Friends" are second it seems. It is I suppose it is these 'relationships' the bring about such violent behavior . Last I read, death by a stranger is actually on the low side.
^^^^Typical "easy solution to a complicated problem" and the need to appear to have THE solution, along with a scapegoat.Most folks, of a certain mentality will see no problem here. Just another law-abiding citizen exercising his 2nd Amendment rights to carry almost any type of armament where ever he chooses. If it's to the job to kill fellow employees, no one has the right to stop him - - -until he shoots the first person. Only then has he committed a crime.
If he carries it in his car to "protect" himself or settle a traffic difference of opinion, he's within his rights - - until he shoots the other driver. This is evidently the U.S. that a lot of people are happy with??
Makes me wonder what goes through the minds of such people who wish to "aid and abet" killers of innocents.
