I like it. But what's important is that you like it.
I inherited a lot of Victorian-style kitsch from both my mother and my mother-in-law. That generation really loved that stuff. When I was younger, I thought it was hideous, but I've grown to like
it because of the family history behind it.
Some years ago, we won a ridiculously ornate wall clock at a gag gift exchange at a neighborhood Xmas party. We kept it for a year, then brought it back for the next year's party, and another "lucky" neighbor got it. It got passed around that way for several years. Finally, someone put it out in their front yard, hanging from a tree. That clock provided a lot of fun!
