What about adopting a child for couples who are incapable?

And moreover why is it such important for some people to get a child whatever it takes?

I doubt that in some cases it is the child which is important for them but other reasons.

I've read the story of a very wealthy couple with a big company.
They wanted to have an heir for the company but the wife couldn't give birth to a child.

Thus they adopted a male baby.
But while growing older it was obvious that the boy could not do what was expected of him. In the end he committed suicide.

Other company owners just sell their company at a certain age.

not sure about where you live - but in Australia it is almost impossible to adopt a child - there just aren't babies available for adoption

can't see why that would be so for people using IVF any more than for anybody else. :whistle:
 
They had a ONE child rule for awhile, you could have 2 IF the one was a girl.
They have upped the limit to 3 now.

They might be able to construct and supply an artificial womb but can they really supply it with everything a mother does including ALL the nutrients, hormones, cells etc in the same form a mother would. If the caretaker misses or messes something up the fetus is done.

Yeah, breasts on a robot do seem unnecessary.
Agreed, there's a lot of photoshop here. This item comes from the Daily Mail, which is not known for accuracy. According to the article, it was based on an " Asian media outlets report." Everybody knows "Asian media outlets" are the gold standard for truthfulness.
But if it could save a baby's life when the mother passes, maybe....

Depending on ones outlook or beliefs it could be beneficial. Not as many young people are getting married and still want children. The robots can carry babies for women who can't have kids. Even though this is probably fake. But ya never know what the future holds.
