but I am making it;) I know my "forever home" is coming soon, talked to my "manager to be" in Lakeport today. It's just about patience, being on a list for subsidized housing. I have 8 months almost, and she is so into helping me all she can. She can only do so much, many others are in more need than I. So in the meantime, I am living in another shelter in Eureka, hard to find internet, but really missing my "organized" life in my own place;)

I am trying to have some fun ( see photos) and the best part really, is meeting gals that are truly enjoyable people, and some are so hurting in different ways. We all try to support each other, for the most part. Some are so broken:(

Well, just wanted to say hey and share the photos. This little gal is just 29, and been through way more than I. I don't know which of us needs "adopting" more, LOL!! hugs to all, ttys as I can, Denise

I'll just do the photos in an album as there are so many;)

Denise, I have been wondering how you are getting along.
Glad you found a new shelter and hope it won't be long before you are in your
permanent home.
Thanks for checking in, it's good to hear from you. Hugs.

The pictures are beautiful.

heeeeeyyy Denise...***waves***...oooh I'm sorry it's all taking so long for your forever home, and you're now in yet another shelter, but I'm glad to hear you're ok, we all worry about you, you know!!

Are you looking after your adopted daughter there in that photo...bless you for thinking of others before yourself when you're all in the same position really.

Do keep us updated whenever you can :love_heart:

Denise !
It is wonderful to hear from you again, and glad that you are getting closer to your new home. I hope that it falls into place for you soon, and I will be keeping you in my prayers for your safety and new home.

I was just wondering about you yesterday Denise! Sorry to hear that things still aren't on the trajectory that you want, but you know, my husband always used to say when something didn't work out good at work (i.e.. lost a contract or ...?), that there was a reason and not to worry even though you don't know what that 'reason' might have been. Like maybe if he'd had a guy on that building for another season, maybe a squeegee would get dropped or someone would fall, or maybe something would break on the stage that was his company's fault and new huge expense or any number of other horrible possibilities. It helped him get through the disappointments you know.

Maybe in your case, you're needed by some of these folks that you're meeting. Maybe you're the 'angel' they need to rub shoulders with and you don't even realize it yourself! I can totally see where your cheery, sweet self could give someone who's blue the boost that they need! I wish I was more like you, that's for sure. I'd be more likely the one who needed the boost I think. Keep the faith sweetie, for this too shall pass!

Hi Denise, I hope your future is as productive as your spirit is. With your spirit you can't loose. When I feel like dropping into a depression, I remember that others are struggling too. Maybe if we hold each other hand, we can pull ourselves through. So I'm sending some good vibes your way. Be safe, and stay good my friend.

Yes, the shelters don't allow you more then "usually" 3 months. This one allows 2, and that's why I took 3 weeks of camping in between shelters;) Today, just a minute ago I answered an ad for an apt. w/kitchen and bath in a Victorian here in Eureka. In my price-range so hope, hope, hope;) Oh oh, I can't type with my fingers crossed, LOL!! Hugs to all, you guys are so good to encourage me, I am not alone:sentimental:

Hi Denise, thanks for keeping in touch and the great pictures - looks like fun. Hope your housing situation gets sorted very very soon. Take care and stay strong. :)

My thoughts too. Hang in there Denise and wherever you are remember to bloom where you're planted.
