Crazy gun guys out killing terrorists in US.

I think Fuzzy meant that the crazies are "out-killing" the terrorists, in other words, their count of murdered people is higher.

I'm dyslexic. I read everything wrong.

Many of the things I read wrong are a lot funnier than they are when I figure them out.

I agree with you about the crazies, although 911 with 2,996 tilted the scales in favor of the terrorists. The Las Vegas looney tunes did his best to raise the crazies' numbers, and it's likely his copycats/competitors will continue his efforts.

I know the NRA people are going to get all over me. We've got an array of government agencies all focusing on terrorists. Thousands of people. How many people are focusing on crazy gun guys? Aren't both the terrorists and crazy gun guys killing Americans?
How do you know when a crazy gun guy is going to strike? Nobody is looking. How about the same way we find out about terrorists.

The problem with crazy gun guys is that they're an inherent part of our culture. How can anyone tell when one of them is about to go on a rampage? The Las Vegas goony bird fooled everyone around him, and I suspect that's pretty typical.

My sister is married to a prepper with a huge arsenal and some sort of weird military fetish. He was in the Air Force and did everything in his power to avoid (successfully) being sent to Vietnam, and now he only wears military fatigues and watches movies like Top Gun on an endless loop. His only reading material is about guns and war. I think he's batsh** crazy and he scares me, but so far he's never shown any signs of acting out. He could be next, but who would know in advance?

The OK Corral affair is still highly controversial and widely discussed. There are many books and articles which treat it. This was part of a political struggle in Arizona. Those with a taste for Western Americana may begin with the following:

The enthusiast will find information from the Republican standpoint in

A good source for the Democrat side is

The second and third books on the list were written nearly a century ago, but are still in print. That certainly says something about long term interest.

I must mention that it didn't occur at the OK Corral, but by Fly's Photo Studio. See the maps in the books.

....but it was a 'sane' gun guy who lived across the street who faced down the murderer and managed to shoot him. If churches allowed people to have their firearms with them the death tool may have been a lot lower.
That man was a hero and saved many other lives from being lost that day. The autopsy showed two of his bullets were in the killer if the neighbor didn't act when he did God knows how many more would be dead before he was caught

The crazy gun guy the wiped out the church was clearly a ticking bomb. And anybody, who knew him, was aware of that fact. And was anybody looking for a crazy gun guy getting ready to pop? We are spending time and fortune trying to decipher if a might-be terrorist bought a Coke yesterday and Pepsi today. And what is the significance of that? Meanwhile we have crazy gun guys giving off warning signals and there's nobody looking for them. (And yes, I know the Vegas guy didn't.)We do nothing, but go pick up the bodies. This is what I mean. You believe there's a terrorist next door, and on the other side is a crazy gun guy talking about killing people. Who are you really going to call the cops on?
