Did you buy something and wonder why you did

DID YOU EVER BUY.......

A high pressure water cannon to scare off the cats from pooing in my garden, well, for a moment there today I considered buying one, but then common sense prevailed, well, I told myself, why would I need five. 😊

A few years ago, I bought this machine that you step on and it jiggles. It's supposed to remove fat. Hah! I don't know what I was thinking! I tried it a couple of times and my neck hurt so much because of all the shaking, so I didn't use it again. It just sat there in the basement. My son thought it would be good to use for mixing paint cans! Hah! I got rid of it when we had our basement renovated after the flooding. I gave it to the contractors. Until this day, I don't know what they did with it, lol. Maybe mixed paint?

Haha! This is timely!
I went to a yard sale yesterday, (hadn't been to a yard sale in YEARS!)
Four women were unloading a huge telescope from a vehicle.
I asked if it was in good condition.
One woman was yelling, "at least a hundred dollars!"
One other lady came over and said, "Yes, it's in excellent condition. How about $25 dollars?"

I bought it. it's at least 9 inches diameter.
Comes with a tripod.
The last thing in the world I need is a telescope!
a HUGE telescope!
I have no one to share this with.
I would rather watch the James Webb telescope images.
I NEVER buy stuff I don't need!
What is the matter with me?
(don't answer that!)

Anyway, I feel really stupid for buying that!
I would have probably bought the telescope too. It would have thrilled my hubby. Play with it. You may be well pleased with what you see. Lou1

While I’m here and speaking of things we buy. Would anyone have an area what to do with a huge bag full of old phones. Is there any good purpose for them ???? Lou

I have seen refurbished old phones on line, because some people collect them, or use them for parts to refurbish with. i actually bought one many years ago, and am still using it because I like the retro feel of a heavy receiver in my hand, and the push button numbers. Maybe you could sell the phones on Ebay?

Take them to your local dump that will take old electricals. They will safely dispose of them.

Your location isn't mentioned, nor whether you mean standard old phones or cell phones, but there are various places you can donate old cell phones.. a couple of examples:

I bought this guitar for $125 at a pawn shop to play songs and make video's to send to my son. He hurt his back and quit communicating with me. The guitar is not very good and sounds strange so when he quit communicating with me I wrote "AstrangED AXE" on it and put it on my wall. Useless purchase after just a few months. 100_0308.JPG

A large framed picture of a famous woman in a pant suit for my front yard to scare elephants from pooping there.

It works not one elephant has pooped there since I put the picture there.
