Do you like being around just your age group or mixture of all Ages?

I prefer people around my age... usually give or take 10 or so years.. Being around younger people makes me feel like I am hanging out with my kids.. who are in their mid forties. I have more in common with 55 and upward folks

I enjoy interacting with people of all ages. While I have more in common with folks in my own age demographic, I still like to be around all other ages-I can always learn something new and (I hope) I can impart some wisdom to them as well.

I shopped at a store only seniors there it felt wonderful no rude kids or crying ones and rude mothers.

When I catch the bus to my local supermarket, it is like being on an old folks outing.:eek:ld:......and I just ain't ready for that.

Im not either, and do not ride the bus , and still do not look senior enough, got turned away from the senior center last month. My kneed acts up so if I use a walker I will use it at the senior center.

I prefer being around people close to my own age. If they're a lot younger we don't have much in common.

I don't own a skate board nor do I wear a belt below my waist or have ear buds in my ears. One funny thing; I wear my baseball cap with the visor facing forward. IMAGINE !!

I'm with most of you folks. Besides, it's hard to converse with the younger crowds because they're CONSTANTLY on their cell phones. There's simply no "one on one" anymore!

I enjoy having contact with people from different backgrounds, ethnicities, age gender(s), I have never been a mainstream person in my life, why would I begin now? Too me, commonality has never been about age, but character, or personal outlook. I have friends ranging from 4 to94, and my life is immeasurably richer for it. If a person lives an authentic life, has integrity, compassion, and makes me laugh, I would be shortchanging myself not to embrace them into my life. Three cheers for diversity, and a huge thank you to all the people past, present, and future, who have, and continue to enrich my life. Exiting soaP box now! Lol.

I've always had friends in many age groups-- for years a very close friend was my mother's age and another good friend was my son's age. These days my friends are pretty close to my own age give or take 10 years. For some reason tho, the the older friend and the younger friend were way more fun than people my own age.

Been out tonight with people of my own age and the generation below.
i enjoy people of all ages; provided we have things in common.

Apart from two people my closest friends are at least 20 years younger than me. I seem to be able to relate to them at their stage in life than I am with those around own age. I guess I like to be silly and muck around and I have a very warped sense of humour that people of my own age don't seem to get. I am interested in younger people as they have lived in a world that is very different to mine and they teach me so much.

I can get away with identifing with all, including babies but find myself looking to those older since I have spent most of my life around those younger .

We mainly mix with people older than us most of them are fit for their ages due to dancing one couple have just celebrated their 68 th wedding anniversary they are 90 and 93 , and can dance as good as anyone ,most of the other couples are in their late. 70's and 80's we are 68 (hubby) and I'm 69
Most of the couples we mix with either met their parteners at a dance or soon after and have been dancing most of their adult lives unfortunately ballroom dancing in Australia is slowly dying out,no young people appear interested.we only started dancing 6 years ago.We have friends in our own age group.

I prefer being around my own age group.

I should probably clarify that when I say age group I mean other seniors.

Younger. Women my age are SO VERY OLD! They talk, act, walk old and have gossipy little thoughts and words.
I know they are probably nice but they have resigned to old age, and they don't have much in their lives.
Younger INTELLIGENT people discuss ideas, philosophies, They move and act more quickly. They smile more, laugh more.
They are much more interesting to be around.

🄰🄰 As long as people are positive, funny, kind hearted, have a zest for life, hate gossip and are authentic…then I love being around them regardless of age.
