What makes you say that you do not look good in a hat? What shapes have you tried? Not for all the tea in China will I wear a cap!I wear a hat almost every day and I don’t even like them. Well, I do like them in the winter, I don’t want to be cold. Six years ago I had failed eye surgery and one pupil is permanently dilated, so I have to keep my face shaded. The good thing is that it helps with sun protection for my face. I’d never worn ball caps; now they’re my norm. In the summer, I often wear a visor indoors. Some folks look good in a hat; I’m not one of them. Smushes my hair too.
My mirror and I know myself. The hat you suggested is huge and looks ridiculous on me - I’m too short for large hats. I’ve tried every shape and size. What makes you say that you do not look good in a hat? What shapes have you tried? Not for all the tea in China will I wear a cap!
Your fault - I could not resist. Different streamers or just a big pin? How is it shapeable? We shall see. I do work on SO's every day felt hats to change the brim shape. https://www.amazon.com/Packable-Ribbon-Crusher-Shade-Shapeable/dp/B08CRZD44P?gQT=1&th=1&psc=1
Make that a special one please.thatBaseball hat - now completes my ensemble. Don't leave home without it!
My "fashion statement" is - - - When dressed up - suit and tie - NO HAT. In my everyday clothes - a baseball cap or bare-headed. (and I mean - bare because I'm partially bald)Today-Th.5/15/25 is National Straw Hat Day!
not just 'for shade'..
It's a fashion-statement, too!![]()
