Do you walk holding hands?

We do, always have done. I think couples holding hands is very natural and sweet. I especially love seeing very elderly people holding hands, it is a simple but powerful connection.

Not just romantically either, it's good to see children holding mummy or daddy's hands. Daughters with elderly parents. Even some friends, I have one close friend who always links arms or holds hands with me as we walk home after a meal out, the four of us. I like it when the husband's walk together and us ladies have a chat.
 

We never used to, but just recently both my husband and son have started holding my hand when walking next to me -- it's because I've become very wobbly. If we're on slick pavement I prefer to hold onto their wrists. They're both very tall and that way they can keep their arm down and rigid while I put weight on it.

I love seeing this, I am single but when I see a couple holding hands it makes me smile.
 
My husband and I always held hands, even just walking into the grocery store. It was something we didn't have to think about; we just did, and it had nothing to do with being infirm, as both of us were more than capable of walking on our own; it was wanting that connection. It was a beautiful thing, and I miss it.

I can remember years ago, during a family picnic at the farm, we were walking down the hill to sit with other family members by the spring house and heard one of my husband's cousins say, "Look, they're holding hands!", like it was something out of the ordinary. :rolleyes:

Absolutely. It's nothing to do with infirmity. It's all about affection and care.
 
Gotta admit title of this thread makes me sad. I always have the same picture in mind re: holding hands
We are in New Hampshire, walking by a lake, holding hands, our little boy running in front of us; behind us; around us---laughing & playing. Love this memory; happened many times. I miss the feel of him and always will. Lucky you who still have each other.
