Everything Horsies

My Duncan in his glory days with his teenage rider. He showed the “A” Circuit and I was told Duncan was in the blue more than he wasn’t.

Duncan in retirement on my farm, taken a few months back. Duncan is a gentle horse who still wants to work, but injuries forced him to retire. He was saved from a slaughter truck bound for Central Mexico by a very kind horse woman who then shipped him to my farm. Duncan is 17H and is as sweet as he is big. His papers didn’t travel with him. Best guess on his age is 29-31 years. I love this guy😍😍

This is my granddaughter Dr Rachael who is an Equine Veterinarian with a brand new foal she delivered.
She spends foaling seasons in Australia and Calgary, Alberta
So proud of her.

And rightfully so, to be proud of her😘😘

That is the face of a very proud human mom/vet. Look at that little sweet face in her arms❤️❤️

A long time acquaintance on a horse forum had to PTS her 20-something mare a few days back. When folks have been members of a forum for a long time, the loss is felt by everyone.

This newborn is just what I need to see today. Your daughter holding the foal reminds me of when I was a child and grandfather would carry a newborn up to the house and place it beside great grandma’s chair for her to hug and pet.

Blessings to your daughter for her dedication and congratulations to her on a successful delivery🏇🏇

Chief Joseph and his Appaloosa stallion.

The Nez Perce tribe was well known for their expert horsmanship, including a horse breeding program so great, the U.S. Calvary tried to annihilate all of the Nez Perce horses. Thankfully those sorry losers did not succeed. Some Appaloosa & and their Nez Perce handlers made it to Canada and we still have the Appaloosa in existence today.

Yes and there are
If you do a Google search, there is a lot of information in English.

Yes ^^^^^

There is no shortage of history in English since General Patton and some of the Allied Forces were involved in saving the Lippizaners from complete annihilation by the Russians.

I believe there are some YouTube videos as well🤠

Thank you. I am not looking for info but a translation of this particular article which goes into detail how soldiers on opposites sides decided to rescue horses to save a breed.. Some, soldiers that is, did not make it.

Oops, sorry🤠

Does your computer have translation software on it, or maybe there’s an app you can download ?
