Have you ever been drunk?

Have you ever been drunk? Not 'feeling good". Sloshed right out of your mind.?

Once for me when I retired. They had a party for me and they were serving liquers.

I can't remember ever been so disoriented and out of the world so to speak.

I had my car but didn't drive home. Picked up the car the next day.

Yes ....... lots of times when I was younger. Now I drink occasionally , and sometimes it does "sneak up on me" . Yikes ! I guess I can't handle it like I could when I was young.

I can't say that I have. Even just one glass of wine makes me very sleepy. That doesn't make for good company at the dinner table especially if I'm the one making dinner.

In college, I was over served several times, but no throwing up, just a bad hangover.

I've always enjoyed my red wine (Pinot Noir,) but as I've aged my tolerance for it became less and less. Two glasses and that's it, or if I'm out to dinner w/friends or family, I'll have a Tito's Dirty Martini, with 3 Bleu Cheese Stuffed Olives.....and that's only if someone else is driving....and only 1 !!!!

Ruth, I'm the same as you. One glass of wine is all it takes. I notice that red wine has more of an effect than white.

Not for a while and at my age (70) I don't plan to ever again. The last time was about 12 years ago at a friends retirement party. It was in his back yard and I got up out of a lawn chair and kinda sorta stumbled into one of his windows and broke it with my forehead. Cost me $150 bucks cuz I paid to have it replaced. But I probably drank up that much in free booze at his party so I figure I broke even.
