Hello from Pennsylvania. I'm glad I found this forum

Gotta go kids, now behave yourselves. See you tomorrow, I hope.

Thanks again for the warm welcome. Whew, I'm exhausted. Is it time for bed yet?

A few years ago I worked in PA for 10 weeks. I worked for ES&S with voting machines and we traveled all over the states...anyway I was in Wilkes Barre and I remember that the head of the board of elections there was very strange, think his name was Leonard something.

Pretty much all the people in WB are strange - the politicians just claim it as a virtue.

We went all over PA but we were so busy that I didn't get a chance to stop in Pittsburgh.

To paraphrase W.C. Fields - "I spent a week in Pittsburgh one night."

is there a Cheater in Chester county?

Chester Cheater - he has a pet cheetah whom he feeds Cheetos during Chinese New Year.

Kennett Square used to be known as the "Mushroom Capital of the World" - don't know if they're still claiming that title or not ...

Hello Joyce

I slept late today. In Oz, New South Wales that is, it is now 10.08 am and it is Wednesday 15th Jan. You'll have to get used to disruptions in the conversations due to geographical differences but it means that if you have insomnia it doesn't matter. There is always someone, somewhere, ready to join in.

Anyway, from me, a big

Pittsburgh is a great city!!

Hi everyone. I live in south eastern Pennnsylvania with my husband of 52 years. Yes, I'm an oldtimer, will be 79 in a few weeks. WHERE did the time go! We have two sons and two granddaughters.

Now 'semi' retired from the business I started forty years ago, I look forward to participating on this forum. My main interest (to start, at least) is to play some word games. Trying to keep the mind active!

I look forward to learning how to 'navigate' here, and hope any errors I make will be corrected and forgiven. ~ Joyce

A very warm welcome to the forum, dear Joyce.
