Hezbollah pagers(not cell phones) explode after an apparent Israeli hack

I don't know what media you're referring to, but I've seen pretty fair reporting on the conflict/war. They report on the destruction from the 2,000lb bombs that Israel is using to obliterate entire neighborhoods, but they also mention that Hezbollah/Hamas are still firing missiles into Israel. It doesn't seem like they're taking sides. A lot of the opinion pieces are taking an anti-Israel stance, so maybe that's what you're referring to.
I was referring to the headlines, mostly NYT coverage, during the campus protests that gave the impression that a majority of Americans were pro Palestine. That's what I was referring to. I was not referring to current media coverage of the last couple of weeks. Note: The NYT did not claim precisely that Americans opposed Israel or supported Palestine. It just focused weeks on that issue and created an impression.

NYT (my most useful source of information) reporting Israel's bombing outside it's borders and Hezbollah missile attacks on Israel has been much more data based.

True, dat. (y)

Before WWI, Palestine was just a region without definitive borders. During the 18th century, many Arabs migrated into the region. Beginning in the 19th century, there was massive Jewish immigration back to the region because of all the antisemitism and pogroms they were experiencing in Europe and Russia.

In the early 20th century, the Arab population was greater than the Jewish population, but no matter how you look at it, even though there were more Arabs, the Jews were the indigenous people of the region. And they were basically fighting each other in a civil war, which the Arabs eventually lost in 1948 when the Jews fought for an independent state.

Sure they are gay goy also. Am I right? :ROFLMAO:

Helplessly searching for a silver lining to having their terrorist's pagers explode while hooked to the front of their belts, Hezbollah leaders have announced that survivors of the attack will form the new falsetto section of the Iranian Boys Choir.

We have a wonderful community...HUGE community of Jewish people living in North London mainly Golders Green and Barnet...the largest concentration of orthodox jews are in Stamford hill... 150,000 jews in London alone which is more than 1/2 of the whole popualtion of Jewsish for the entire country...
Even some of the orthodox jewish mix with non Jewish.. for entertainment.. like boating for example..

I have had Liberal jews as friends but aside from that no... but because the Jewsih here in North London are all friendly, or it seems so to me as an outsider.. I was shocked when this war started, and there was 10 times the mount of support for Palestine as there was for the jewish... the Jewish here going about their normal business, for the first time in my life.. that I've known about, were being attacked in the street by random strangers and it;s continuing even today... Old men being punched in the head by someone cycling past...young women having their hats knocked off by a passing stranger..

I'm appalled and actually, truthfully don't understand it..
It is appalling that Jewish people are being assaulted and harassed in other countries. This should only be about what the Israeli government is perpetrating in Israel, against the Palestinians. It seems that their bad acts are having repercussions outside their border, even against Jewish people.

Not just even against Jewish people... but very much against them.. which is a real concern, given the past history ...

You know, ten or twenty years ago, I was actually feeling kind of optimistic about the trend that the world was taking. The Americans elected a black man for president, people were accepting gay people more, racism seemed to be less prevalent, we were learning to be healthier and more interested in taking care of our earth home......all that feels like it's slipping away though in the past few years though and there seems to be such a drive towards authoritarianism, censorship and various other abuses against one another seems to be more prevalent. I feel like we're going backwards sometimes don't you?

yes I absolutely agree with you 100 %...it;s not only sad, it's extremely concerning...:(

Regarding the Israeli/Palestinian war... It seems like Israel is completely fed up and at this point is in the process of obliterating Palestine. It's sad that this is what it has come to, but Palestinians don't want peace; they want to destroy Israel, so in response, Israel is destroying Palestine.
Islam wants to destroy all Jewish settlements in the Middle East. I seriously doubt this war will ever end until, and unless, Islam succeeds in driving out the Jews. I believe there are around 8 million Jews in Israel. Too bad we don‘t have a spare state to give them, but perhaps something could be done to accomodate them. BTW if you check out US Nobel prize winners you will find that Jews have earned prizes exceeding their numbers relative to the rest of our population. Ashkenazi Jews are likely the most intelligent group in humanity.
