How are you today?

I'm doing just fine today. It's warm outside, all my first part of the day "things" are done and in a few, I'm going to play a PC game and hangout on Whatsapp with boyfriend.

And, if we watch a movie later, I'm --oh, crap! I've just this moment realized I'm freaking out of my favorite, 150 calorie, buttery flavored, microwave popcorn. How in Hades am I going to watch a movie without popcorn? 🍿

@Blessed, sorry for your plumbing troubles. :( Hoping that gets resolved soon and smoothly.

Wishing everyone a nice (less rain and more cheese for @Georgiagranny) Thursday.

Been to Publix. Got cheese. Enchiladas made and resting comfortably in the fridge until time to put them in the oven.

Fed Maggiecat.

Now I'm resting.

Thinking about building dough for scones and making them tonight so that DSIL will have something to munch on on the way to the airport in the morning. He's going to visit his mother and sister over a long weekend, back on Tuesday.

Ate enchiladas not because I was hungry but because I forgot to eat yesterday and only had a muffin this morning.

DGD had a screaming hissy fit this afternoon. It sounded like she was throwing things (her room/office) is smack dab over my Hovel. It went on for the length of what was probably her afternoon break, about 20 minutes. She was so loud that my kitchen timer vibrated right off the shelf it was on. No kidding. Surprised that it still works.

Apparently nobody ever told her that her behavior affects those around her. Or if anybody told her, she either didn't believe it or doesn't care. I should have recorded it and played it back for her to hear.

If I had somewhere else to go, I would. Anywhere. I'd like to have a screaming hissy fit. I'd scream Let. Me. Out.

Days like this I wish I'd never agreed to come back here. It's distressing and depressing to put up with, and of course, I'm not "allowed" to say a word.

There was a little girl who had a little curl right in the middle of her forehead.
When she was good, she was very, very good, but when she was bad she was horrid.

My day is turning out to be a busy one; son and husband set up a tv monitor for me, on my desk, next to the pc monitor. Which is very cool and I like it a lot. It's just that I have some rearranging and "putting back together" to do.

Also, husband and I are walking up to the co-op today so I can fill bags with fun goodies, e.g., nuts, chocolates, dried fruits, granola, etc. for son's stocking. I really enjoy picking out and wrapping goodies for Christmas stockings.

I'd like to work on the Barbie dress I started the other day and I've got a new PC game to try. See? Busy, Busy. :ROFLMAO:

Boyfriend and I ended up watching the original, 1964 version of Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, yesterday. I hadn't seen it in decades. It was sweet. I'd forgotten all about the island of lost toys and the snow monster.

@MarciKS, sorry about your struggles with anxiety; I feel that. Hope you find some meds that help. I mean really help.

@-Oy-, good thoughts for you staying healthy! :)

Best to everyone. Have a nice Friday.

Will my 72 year old wife ever be finished with decorating the house and garden? And then comes baking cookies for the neighbors, and finally preparing the Christmas dinner for the family. I wish I still had her energy. BTW, we bought the Olivewood Nativity Scene in Jerusalem when we visited the Holy Land in 1998: one week by car all over, and one week in Jerusalem. I am Lutheran and my wife is Catholic. Because there was no Lutheran service in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, I joined my wife in the Catholic Holy Mass. At the place where Jesus died, I thought religious denominations don't mean anything.

I went to sleep last night after watching the weather on tv. They said high winds in our area. I woke up in full darkness with no electricity, no water to flush and no water from the faucets at all. So, no shower. I waited till it was late in the day and all had been set right before taking a chance on having hot water. Oh, forgot, no coffee. The wind was high and the rain was sideways.
