How did you come up with your username?

Mine came from the lead character of both my father and my, 2nd favorite TV western. Have Gun, Will Travel. His favorite TV western was Gunsmoke, and mine was Rawhide. I've been using Paladin as a user name on so many forums over the years.

I should be depressed. My life's a mess, but I'm having a good time.

When looking for a username, I opened our big Webster dictionary. I decided that "M" was good beginning letter, so I flipped the pages with "M" entries. As I was meandering through the "Ms"....there it was in one place for a moment "Meander"!
I realized right then and there that I was the Meanderer! My interests are all over the "map", so it fit me to a "T".....or an "M"!

I liked the connection- long ago I lived by a street where homeowners had nice-scented orange trees in the front yards, and that was its name: "Sunkist Street." So I grabbed onto it as my screen name.

After I retired, I was asked to teach a college class which I did for eight years and I really loved it. So that’s how I chose my username.

I had been on the city data forum for 12 years and anytime I posted something that someone else didn’t like they would go on a major rant that I should not be teaching children. I finally asked them to let me change my username and they did.

It’s actually pretty sad that a forum with anonymous people can make you sorry that you chose the name you did. People on there would always assume I was a school teacher and teaching children.
