Well, that was around 1961. Maybe times have changed or maybe he was just different. He sometimes wore an ascot and drove a giant Buick. Wonderful sense of humor.that's very strange because almost all men called Michael in the Uk are known as Mike..or Mick...
I like it...think it's cool.Alizerin crimson is a color in my paint box. It is made from an organic dye. I thought it sounded like a woman's name. I added an e on the end. My favorite colors are more in the blue/green range so maybe it was a bad choice.
So you can see out of both of your eyes? For six years I've thought the reason for your name was blindness in one eye!!!During glaucoma surgery in 2005, one eye at a time, my doctor surprised me by correcting my nearsightedness and astigmatism so that I could see 20/20. The surgeries were approximately a year apart. After the first one my brain couldn't process the major differences in vision. I tried removing the right lens of my glasses...didn't work. Since I had to start putting so many drops in my eyes, contacts weren't an option. Finally I substituted brown construction paper for the right eyeglass lens. My frames were tortoise shell colored (brown).
My husband and I went to the mall and supermarket one day and I could tell people were looking at me strangely as they approached me. If I was younger I would've been mortified, but I thought it was kind of funny because I imagined that from a distance it probably looked like I only had one eye (since the glasses frame and construction paper were similar to the color of my skin). Fancying myself a music Diva, I chose the name OneEyedDiva.
Ya know how first impressions stick? You will always and forever be Tom Selleck to me.I am old. Not as old as some on here, but old nonetheless. And, I'm a fella.
