How long can squirrell be frozen for and still be safe to eat? @hearlady Is it years? I have two frozen hamburgers for a year and a half and I'm afraid to eat them.
Give these poor burgers a proper funeral. We never had to freeze squirrel as there was a high demand for stew. I traded it for manual labor I could not do such as pulling stumps when the tow chains were too heavy to lock when SO was not available.

I feel like you do laundry 24/7! You need a break from it. :)
Actually, I usually do two or three loads on Thursdays. What I've got now is a basket full of clothes to fold 😡. It's not my favorite job...

Oops. Typed a reply hours ago and forgot to post it. Old person brain fart...

I'm done in the garden for now. It's 84F and way too hot. I've even been wearing my straw hat.

DD took me to the other garden center. Got plants that don't flower for pots; they're for contrast among the flowers.

I ran out of primer so the potting bench has to wait until I can get to Home Depot again. Maybe Saturday because it needs to get done and dry before our next rain (Sunday).

I will personally will be cutting back on my 'stuff' purchases somewhat. Savings, food, rent & utilities will take precedence for the moment. I also quit driving 2 years ago. I'll have to start watching more minor expenses as time goes on. Our auto insurance provider requires that my wife carry me on her policy even though I gave up my license. Little things like that will matter. I therefore will be auto insurance shopping within the next 6 months. I think I'll table my streaming plan again for awhile.

Our drive in the country, with daughter and her Corgi (Abbi), turned out to be a nice day, albeit very windy!
We went to Uxbridge, to the dairy for ice cream. Abbi got her own free pup-cone, which she thoroughly enjoyed.

Abbi is 9, and slowly showing her age. She and I share the backseat .. most of the time, with her standing on my thighs with her head out the window. When she gets tired, she lays down beside me, and rests her face on my arm, closing her eyes. It melts my heart.

I use to live in Uxbridge.. on the RAF camp when we were in the military...... not the Canadian one obviously, I didn't even know there was one in Canada....:D

I was up early around 4am, so went outside to look at the stars and Milky Way w my coffee. Watched the groomers up on the mtn getting the place ready for skiers.

On to a workout at the gym, then the chiro and then the grocery store for meat. Had a convo w the accountant to change some things on the tax return due in 10 days or so. Also tried to digest the economic news of the day and then took a 1 hr nap, and now making dinner.

We had a bit of excitement yesterday as our daughter and boyfriend made a deposit on a female yellow lab that was born this past Saturday! I'm so happy for them and of course it's another sign they'll get married in the next year or 2, which I'd be thrilled with.
