Yes. You're glue too GG.I hope she does well and comes back soon. She seems to be the glue that holds us all together. Or maybe just me. Maybe she holds me together?

We have all sorts of interesting glue-bodies on this forum.Yes. You're glue too GG.![]()
Something may have come up and she does not yet know you well enough. My neighbor, Marilyn called me this afternoon, 15 min before the cut off time{2pm} for making dinner reservations. She said she wasn't feeling well, strange because I saw her 45 min earlier as she headed to get her mail. I told her we would try another time, I called to cancel the reservation, then quickly came downstairs to put in my dinner order to pick up at 5:30
OMG...those biscuits look SO good!Had more biscuits for breakfast; they are wonderful when split open, laid flat with butter on top then broiled under the broiler for 3-4 minutes.
I finished re- caulking the one kitchen counter/wall joint (houses settle a bit) and put new caulking on the surround of the main bath; went and picked up paint to repaint the outside of the door that leads from garage into the house, will do a first coat on that tomorrow.
Put the nice landscape privacy screen on FB Marketplace; ordered large rugs for three rooms, bought a new drop front desk but that won't arrive for four weeks. Need to list 1901 roll top desk with consignment shop tomorrow. Had dinner out - my favorite green corn tamales and a margarita, chips and salsa. Made DH a grilled cheese sandwich and clam chowder when I got home at 5. Weather under 60 all day and breezy. New bird feeders came, seed came, mixed seed and set out new feeders. Now I have four bird feeders plus two hummy feeders.

She was the one who suggested we go to dinner at 5:30. When I saw her downstairs she asked me what time the dinner reservation was. SueSomething may have come up and she does not yet know you well enough.
Google "slow closure arm" but check with code enforcement if what you select is acceptable.Made shrimp gumbo over fresh hot jasmine rice plus two slices of garlic bread on the side. DH was so happy. I don't eat gumbo but did have a few steamed shrimp with 4 broiled buttered open face biscuits.
Painted the garage into house access door. Am trying to figure out how to stop that door from slamming so hard. Fire code requires the door between the house and garage to auto close, but this closes so hard it rattles the whole wall!and that can't be good for the door jam.
I moved several boxes DH had packed up into storage. DH didn't TELL me the boxes were full of BOOKS!!
Sorry your ribs are still a problem. Have you tried BBQ Sauce?SO is on a play date. He will be payed out, aired out and happy when he comes home.
These ribs are starting to impact life. Four hours of sleep is not enough.
Some painting in the bathroom dealing with the cabinets and moving back in. Next time the remodl bug bites me I will have a glass of wine and close the door.
The usual idiot rally through the house. Then some tea and a book.
It is cold but not as brutal as the last couple of days.
BBQ sauce with enough capsaicin has potential:>)Sorry your ribs are still a problem. Have you tried BBQ Sauce?
Just kidding, of course. Hope you get healed very quickly!![]()
Have fun tomorrow! The temp finally climbed to 20F and it's sunny. I'll hurry and get the trash up to the dumpster.
Took everything out from under the kitchen sink and put the stuff in 2 boxes. DGS gift to me. They're coming tomorrow. I'm excited. Even more excited to see The Baby!
Hope everyone has some fun today!
Hey, now that you mention it....BBQ ssauce with enough capsaicin has potential:>)
I'm Back Gigi....I hope she does well and comes back soon. She seems to be the glue that holds us all together. Or maybe just me. Maybe she holds me together?
yep ..and I really..really don't want to go through all that again...Seems to me that if the nurses were doing their jobs, the surgeons might be able to do theirs in a timely manner.
So you're home now until they tell you when to rinse and repeat?
Pffft. Don't be rushing into thingsIf I keep up this productive streak, maybe I'll finally respond to holiday emails I received last month.
