When it's really bad, I've been known to pick off any big pieces then throw everything back in the washer and start over.Oh yeah. I hate that!
lol..it's because Clams look like they're smiling... like dolphins...perhas you shuld say smilin' like a dolphinI saw a commercial now touting the product as "easy as pie." What? Where did that saying come from. How easy is pie? From where I sit it's only easy if it comes from a grocery store.
And that made me think of another silly saying. Happy as a clam? How happy is a clam and how would we know that a clam is happy? Do clams smile?
Okay. I admit it. There's too much time on my hands. (GG exits stage left to wash dishes.)
Pearls are in oysters. That's why you never found one.lol..it's because Clams look like they're smiling... like dolphins...perhas you shuld say smilin' like a dolphin

Some will do well indoors. What kind will you actually use?I have given up gardening except for the odd container or two. While trying to look forward to something I thought I might try a simple herb garden. Maybe put pots in a wagon so I can move them to sunny locations. But wagons are too expensive even on Craigslist.
How about indoors? There is a nice sunny window facing south. I found a group of five Italian herb seeds and put them in my online shopping cart to consider. Five seems manageable and they happen to be my favorites.
Well, my cell phone is so sensitive that I am always dialing people by mistake and it decided to place my order. My seeds are due to arrive today.
Why is it that I can check EVERY pocket in every piece of clothing and STILL there's a tissue in there somewhere?Yeah. So I can forget it's there and find bits of Kleenex all over the rest of the laundry![]()
I tend to keep my Kleenex in my bra. My beloved grandma kept everything in her bra...tissues, money, bus cards, etc.Well, put a Kleenex in the pocket like a proper old lady!![]()
Murphy's Law?Why is it that I can check EVERY pocket in every piece of clothing and STILL there's a tissue in there somewhere?
With my grandmother it was Emeraude. I still love Emeraude.I tend to keep my Kleenex in my bra. My beloved grandma kept everything in her bra...tissues, money, bus cards, etc.
She also used rose perfume and powder, so everything smelled like roses. We'd be sitting in church and start sniffling and she'd pull a nice, warm rose-scented tissue out of her bra (in a ladylike manner, of course) and hand it to us. To this day, the smell of anything rose-ish is very comforting. It means that my grandma is still hanging around, looking out for me.
or for me it's a coin , a tiny one like a 5p coin.... rattling around in the dryer....Why is it that I can check EVERY pocket in every piece of clothing and STILL there's a tissue in there somewhere?
Doggone it. Here I was, playing solitaire and sailing merrily along in the fast laneWhen I got home from church, I did a load of laundry and worked out a week's worth of Jumble puzzles. Real exciting stuff.![]()
