I'm getting ready to go offline for the day.
If anyone is looking for me, I'll be at the roller rink!

Good morning. Slept nine blissful hours. Will have good night sleep tonight too I bet to make up for getting up one am yesterday.

Tablet hard as my hands shake. I like a computer. It's easier for me to use. Sorry to complain.

Today I get lucky. Son and grandson coming around 11am. Want to take a lovely shower soon.
Well just checking in to my very important people. Have fun day everyone.
Pepper.. can you prop the tablet up on something.. so you're not holding it.. then attach a bluetooth mouse to it

Something like this

you can even attach a keyboard... it's very easy to do, and there's plenty videos on YT to help you ....

@hollydolly In the first picture, Pixie looks so tiny that she could be one of their toys :ROFLMAO:

Warmer today and sunny so maybe more will get done in the garden.

Need to get a haircut. I hope DD gets up and moving soon because my cutter works from 9-6, and there's always a ton of people waiting for her.

I know lol..you can't tell she's so tiny in her solo pics... but when you consider that Stan the black labrdoodle was a miniature doodle.. and Digs the white one was medium size... you can definitely see how small she is...

here she is with her sisters... Minky who was very old by then, and fizz the Belgian malinois who at the time of this photo was only a year old...

and here she is when she was a puppy....

@StarSong, you’re so lucky to have a gang of grands close by. I have no idea why I wondered about a girl in the group. Of course the older ones are in school and can’t be dedicating a day to grandma’s house very often. They probably had their special days when they were young too.
We usually get see DD's family for a few hours every weekend plus her kids often spend a night with us during school vacations. (Spring break is coming soon!) I've learned that lives may get busy but people carve out time for what's important to them.

And yes. I'm so very lucky to have them all nearby. ❤️

Showed up at the lifts only to find the spud truck. I made my living selling Idaho potatoes so it's kinda personal.
You've made several interesting, informative comments on the forum about potatoes, so I knew you had expertise in potato growing, farming and distribution, but didn't realize they were connected to your career.

Were you a broker, farmer, or did you do something else in that business?

My neighbour is 80-ish... if you think of @Ronni ..then that's who my neighbour looks like, and she's always been extremely active...finger in many pies... a couple of years ago she had a serious accident , and fell down a flight of stairs. She's been desperately learning to walk since then.., but she's never allowed her hair to go gray.. its always a a shade of baby Pink

I am a step ahead of you - laundry done, ironed and back in the closet.

Quiet Saturday at home. Will be gathering gear at door for a dawn drive tomorrow, then a couple days of landscape photography with dispersed car camping, a couple hours drive east in the very lushly green Sierra Nevada foothills where wildflowers are rising, my first serious use of my Sony a6700 system this year. Also need to create a cheat sheet of the elaborate focus bracketing shooting process so that runs smoothly in the field. Warm sunny days forecast with light breezes.

Looking forward to seeing your spring photos David...(y)

I've lost one garden glove, the pansies I ordered from Amazon have arrived 5 days earlier than Amazon said they would, but the new garden gloves that were supposed to arrive today haven't even been shipped yet. This quandary forced me to realize I could use a pair of disposable vinyl gloves like I use when scrubbing sinks/tub, which probably will be a much better experience than the garden gloves that become soggy and muddy.

But I'm kind of obsessing about that one glove! Where did it go?! How can a glove get lost in an apartment, I've looked in all bags, coat pockets, sweatshirt pouches, under furniture, etc.

Our big thought this year is we are deciding whether to buy a new car or not. We have 2 vehicles we drive - one is 18 years old - a Ford Escape the other is 10 years old -a Caddy- both with low mileage as we don't drive much. The Caddy is a cts coupe that has a tiny back seat so if we take someone to dinner or whatever we
take the Escape - which currently has a parasitic drain on the battery that our mechanic has had a time trying to find. Husband starts it up every day to be
sure it is ok. Any thoughts are really welcome!

Couch cushions? Robe pockets? Hope you find it!

Check Dollar Tree if you have one in your area. I stocked up on gardening gloves with rubber palms/fingers and mesh backs.

Hi all... nice to see you're mostly behaving yourself today.

@hollydolly, how are you feeling today? Hope you're continuing on the healing trend.
@Pepper, have a great day with your son and grandson today. With luck, your son might be able to sort out your computer problems. I'll keep a good thought. 🤞
Since I have a Brita pitcher, I hardly ever drink the bottled water
Same for me. I wash out lemonade (soda type) bottles and refill with Brita water so we have emergency water on hand. Our older grandchildren like pink lemonade - we might go through a bottle every three months.

One of my sons recently mentioned having been in a Costco five years ago when pandemic panic buying was raging so the store limited bottled water purchases. He said there was an employee posted at the bottled water fielding questions and pointing people to an adjacent Brita pitchers and refill display, telling them they could "make" their own purified water. He said the customers couldn't see beyond their panicked mindset and didn't buy the Britas.

Back to the spreadsheets today. I'm nearly finished and want to be able to go over them with our customer Monday or Tuesday. Otherwise it will be a kicked-back Saturday.

Hope all have a good day.

I'm getting better thank you @StarSong , thanks for asking.. Cough is still a bit of an issue, but otherwise, except for a lack of energy I seem to be improving quite well...

Today I celared out drawers, and bagged up a couple of donation bags for the charity shop.. yesterday I wrote all my ledgers in long hand.. this time last week I was so poorly I would have barely known those things existed.. so onwards and upwards. I just wish I knew where I'd got it.. I'd stay away from there

I always say if the cars you have are costing you less money to keep than buying a new one, then just keep going with them....
