Bless you.. thank you... I'm just whining really...I'm normally very stoic when it comes to pain, but this is something else...... and I'm sure the co-codomol would help ease the pain, if I took it regularly but it's a horrible med for casuing constipation so because it creates another problem while easing the first, I don't like to take it unless I realllllly really need to ..like now...
No I really don't think the foot pain caused by the shoes was the problem..I think because I drove 30 miles.. then after I got there, and after I'd been around Costco..I then drove to several other places all within a mile or 2 of each other, and short jaunts like that using a manual car and in and out of the car... every few minutes ... is quite hard on the body, if there's a weakeness there of any type.. and of course I was carrying al the heavy stuff myself as well...@hollydolly, I'm so sorry to hear about your worsened hip pain. Do you think it's related to the foot pain you had from wearing those loafers as you worked your way through Costco? (When one part of my body hurts, my body automatically adjusts my posture or gait to ease the pain. More often than not, the next day I suffer entirely different pain from those compensations.) Hope you're feeling better soon.
May all have a lovely day today!
Thanks for that Imogene, all very useful info.....I've not even thought of topical patches.. I may ask about those.. and I just googled Indometacin, and apparently it IS prescribed here for arthritic pain, so knowing that I have arthritis in both my hands and my knees..I wonder why the GP hasn't already prescribed that.. ...so now I'll ask when they call if there's any reason I can't have it... thank you...Hip pain that feels like.burning kerosene and won’t let one sleep, is no fun. I had A2M done on my hip and slept without any pain the first night. No insurance, I had to borrow money, that’s how bad the burning pain was.
Topical arnica or prescription 5% lidocaine patches might bring some relief. Indomethacin is a prescription NSAID for osteoarthritis, so it may help some.
£2.79 a Gallon ? so incredbly low...... that's because you don't rely on someone else to supply you I suppose.Wow, Hollydolly... we are in Texas. We just paid $2.79 per gallon. If they were going to plug the hose in the gas ground they'd plug it in here...lol.
