WTH?
The ease ease of Internet work and computers is turning into a nightmare of hassles and lengthy logins, hacking and thievery.

My BFF and I exercised “together” this morning. She called at the beginning of her walk. I walked to two Leslie Sansone videos while we talked. I stopped at about 24 minutes, but she continued because she usually walks for an hour.

I had a telehealth meeting with my nutritionist at 11:30. I really like her so I’m glad I’m able to have consultations with her again without having to go to her office, which is in another town. I ate lunch and took a short nap. Another perk...the tele-visits are free.

This evening, my son and I used our studio time to review where we’re at in the production process for each song and finalized what songs will go on the next album (there will be 12),. That acted as a reminder to me of what I need to do to get a couple of those songs ready. So after our session, I laid down revised tracks for one of the songs and re-acquainted myself with how to make sure they were saved, then transferred the revised version to two floppy disks (yes someone is still using those). :D They really should have fired whoever wrote the Clavinova instruction manual ! 😵‍💫

played for over an hour, so about three hours were dedicated to the creative process today. Also, I was very happy that my son was able to transfer one of the slated songs that I worked on in Garage Band into his Logic program without any problems. It was transferred from my external hard drive. I loaded the dishwasher but won’t run it until tomorrow morning. The rest of the night will be watching TV, playing WWF, Cody Cross and checking to see how my portfolio did today.

Darned cat made me get up at 430. I didn't wanna get up at 430.

It's gonna be "warm" (57) and sunny today. Tomorrow is another story and includes possible tornados late in the afternoon.

There must be something on the agenda for today, but I can't think of what it is.

Good news from the derma doc is that the mole on the side of my forehead is non-cancerous. Ugly but not cancerous. Yay.

"Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with the Mother" works on moles and skin tags. Just hold a cotton ball with acv on it for 5 minutes a day. I can say it works because I've done it myself.

Morning all.. grey and overcast day today. Remember the £59 refund I got from Specsavers?..well I didn't actually get it, because I presented the wrong card.. but amazingly it printed out a receipt in store for the refund so I wasn't alerted to it, it was only when I looked on my statements I realised, so I've got to trudge back there tomorrow..

We lost power here yesterday for about 4 hours. My Fire/EMS/Police scanner has a battery that kicks in, when we lose electric, but of course the battery was dead.:cautious: Luckily I had more batteries to put in it. We only had a short period in the afternoon of high wind gusts, but that is all it takes here in rural NY.

Also we, who use well water, dependent on electric, always have a small stock of bottled water -I still have 4 gallons-good enough for a few cups of tea or coffee as, (made the old way -pour hot water over the grinds) and my oven is electric but the gas burners are on propane. I cooked a crock pot meal yesterday ,that was done just before the power went off.

We expect temps maybe to 40 but there also might be snow/rain mix. I have many projects inside that I can tackle in the winter. It got so dark here that I could not find my Princess phone for a while-it is over 40 years old but I can get a dial tone on it-my other phones, except Cell are electric. I call it my NYSEG phone.

If I have no Cell access,I can still call the electric company -NYSEG and they said there were over 2,100 homes with no power.
That figure is higher than population of our whole town and village.

Our Hawks-in-Residence left this morning a souvenir in front of my window. Well, actually they live in our Eucalyptus Trees only every Spring during the breeding season and while raising their fledglings. I never discovered their nest even though I know in which tree it must be. I saw them the last few days flying around our house; so, we'll have them back again for the next few months. I love their high-pitched screams because it's for me "the call of the wild" of an almost lost nature in our "civilized" world.

It's already 11am with nothing much accomplished. Thinking about it, where is it written than something needs to be accomplished? By me. On a day off. Nowhere, that's where.

I did make myself some breakfast, made the bed, emptied Maggiecat's litter box, showered and dressed. And took a nap.

My shirt today has a scared-looking kitty saying "Don't go outside. There are people out there."

Today is payday. Money already transferred to savings.

@dilettante I'm grateful that I don't live in Michigan anymore. Three seasons is fine for me. Four seasons is fine for other people.

Well, have had symptoms of a UTI for the past couple days. My doctor office is still in Rochester, as I like them and did not want to change after I moved back to Batavia.
So, anyway, I called and fibbed a bit...said I was not yet allowed to drive after cateract surgery (got cleared to drive last week). Plus it is snowing. Asked if she would just call in a prescription. It worked, nurse called back and said she called it in. So, a short ride to my pharmacy got me my antibiotic and I am off to the races.
Plus..when I went out to my car one of my neighbors was out and he offered to brush the snow from my car for me. That works.
