The vast San Francisco Bay Area has a good listing of social events on San Francisco Events & Free Things to Do | Funcheap

that I regularly check. Today Saturday, I see there are two outdoor free live music events up in San Francisco that I might easily walk to from where I like to safely park for free at Marina Green on its tourist heavy North Shore. So brought up Google Maps to check the locations of the 46th Union Street Festival and the Pier Party at the San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf:

I've finally completed over many days image post processing of 75 images taken recently during two recent trips, of which 48 are strong enough to exhibit publicly. My new Sony a6700 with focus bracketing has been a game changer. Thus to celebrate, will do the 55 mile drive north before noon and have some fun street dancing.

From a foggy May 11 day at the coast with excellent diffuse mid day light, a downsized for web version of a 6kx4k focus stack blended original:

I'm learning all new things every day here at 'Camp Gates' e.g after lunch I can pre order my dinner,pick it up at set a time lately its been 5:30.since I like to eat dinner watching local 6pm news. The food is really good, no complaints. This morning had my picture taken for the resident directory, it has your name apt# phone& email address. This will be helpful to put the names with the faces
It's really quiet here ,I don;t hear any birdies even though lately I'm still waking up at 4am,able to go back to sleep
I do miss my friends but not living at the old apt complex. I've invited 2 of my friends for lunch on Mon,looking forward to seeing them

There isn't a community dining room? I'm trying to get a sense of your new place. I pictured it sort of like assisted living, but that doesn't seem to be the case?

what time is it there now ?

It's almost 11pm here... I got all the vacc'ing done upstairs and down. I only do that about once a month because it's heavy work for me.. Every day I use the cordless vacs , I have one each upstairs and down but I like to do a good deep clean once a month.

I had a friend invite me to a wedding today.. I won't go, because I hate weddings.. really hate them... but it was nice to be asked
 
Yesterday, my grandson was running and playing in the water sprinklers. Then, amidst all this joy, he lost his water shoe & fell, hard, on his knee. There was a lot of blood and he was crying. I thought my heart pulled from my body. Can't stand to see this kid hurt. The crying turned into "I wish mommy were alive" I was shocked & said "of course mommy is alive, she is at her reunion, she will see you tomorrow." He explained by saying 'alive' he meant HERE, NOW, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. That's profound!

I hope I live to see him grow up. I think he has complicated emotions, and deep feelings. I want to see them.

Anyway, because of this incident, it cut the Park Party short and we wound up in McDonald's, ugh their food is really bad, but it lifted grandson's spirits.

Then, back to my home. He likes to tell me to draw monsters and he & I both color them in. He thinks my scribbles are art, because his father, my son, told his son, my grandson, that I am an artisr. Cats nails cut, chores I can't do, done.

I love my two boys so much. They are my everything.

We are having our 2 yr old grandson by himself for four whole days next week.
He is a curly headed little ball of fire and a sweet little ball of cotton candy all in one. 🤗
