Around 15F this morning, car started fine. Dropped ColoGuard samples at UPS.
Be careful with it.Yesterday I woke up and saw eight inches of new snow on our deck. Yes, but I'd forgotten about the two inches of earlier stuff that had already blanketed the big yard. So it was deep.
Thank goodness it had not thawed at all and re-frozen, so the build-up was all still fairly fluffy. It was quite enough work to run the snowblower around, and use the hand scoop to push it off the deck. It took hours... though I got good exercise dealing with it.
Today, there'll be some more of that as a bit of new snow fell over night. And, sigh... the chocolate cake hasn't appeared.
I quite fancy Chinese.. but it means driving to get it through the woods in the pitch dark and ice to get it ...... no deliveries here... so I might have to forget itGS and his lady coming around 4 and bringing dinner! Some simple Indian fare, they said nothing exotic. Anything is ok by me.
Have to clean/dust living room, maybe a load of laundry
With the snow removal? Or over-indulging in chocolate cake if it does appear?Be careful with it.
I've done much the same, too, on the rare occasion.Today I had a MacDonald's at lunchtime ..only a cheeseburger.. nothing on it , no pickle or sauces.. just the cheese and the burger.. on a bun...
rarely eat Maccy Dees.. once in a very blue moon.. but I was hungry and it was the nearest thing to me in the town I was in.. so I ate it in the car!!

Snow removal. After that ordeal, you deserve cake! With the snow removal? Or over-indulging in chocolate cake if it does appear?
no ramen packets in the house, I don't eat that ...I do have Duck & Pancakes in the freezer but that needs 24 hours to thaw...I've got some spring rolls in the freezer that can be cooked from frozen in the AF. but I fancy some Sweet & Sour prawn balls..You've got 3 freezers chock full of food and no frozen Chinese entrees? No Ramen packets in the house? (gasp)
Fry some fish and add soy sauce, lol...

Not if I decide to drive to the Chinese restaurant lol.... ..I just looked out, it's pitch dark, the cars are all covered in ice again.. some have never even thawed out...You're outta luck.![]()
that's a beautiful room Leann, I hope yours gets to look exactly how you want it..It has been snowing off and on (more on than off) here for the past week. I am converting one of the bedrooms in my home to a craft/storage room. I need the storage and want to get rid of the multiple storage bins and totes that are stacked in that room. So, since I'm somewhat snowed in, I have used the the time to prep the room for the renovation. I moved everything from that room to the guest bedroom, took down the curtains and have it ready now for the carpenter to come out and do the measurements for the cabinets, drawers and shelves that I want. I've included a stock photo from the internet that looks somewhat like what I want. But....
The room I have is small and I don't want marble or granite counter tops nor do I need a gift wrapping station. I do want the top cabinets, the drawers and shelves. The carpenter usually has great ideas (he's done work at my house before) so I'll wait to hear what he suggests. I'll try to remember to post before and after pictures.
A small moving company might be willing to do it. We have something called task rabbit which are independent contractors that do little jobs with a hour minimum. There’s always someone to do any kind of task you want done.that's a beautiful room Leann, I hope yours gets to look exactly how you want it..
Yesterday I went to the Major bed retailers here because I want to get the beds taken from 2 rooms.. put a new bed into one, and make something else out of the other room.. they're Ottoman beds, so because they have storage and the gas lifts, they need to be dismantled.
I asked them if I bought a bed would they take my existing beds away , they said yes but it would cost £40.. per bed which was ok by me ... and then she asked if the beds had bed-heads.. of course they do.. they both have leather bed-heads, which of course need to be dismantled.. and I can't do it ..
she then said that they wouldn't be able to do it.. that I would have to dismantle them myself before they would remove them. Hows that for madness, don't all beds have Bed-heads ? ...and that's from Dreams the most Major bed retailers in the country... so I don't quite know how I can get the beds dismantled and removed..
btw it's really 2 and a half freezers...You've got 3 freezers chock full of food and no frozen Chinese entrees? No Ramen packets in the house? (gasp)

Yes but I would imagine they would charge quite a bit to do it.. and then where would they take the beds..they're not permitted to take anything like a bed to the waste centre..A small moving company might be willing to do it. You could just pay them to dismantle the beds so the bed store people could remove it. Maybe they could do some other chores while they’re there.Yes but I would imagine they would charge quite a bit to do it.. and then where would they take the beds..they're not permitted to take anything like a bed it to the waste centre..
DIY waste
I'm so sorry your body is forsaking you like that Pepper!OW!Everything hurts from my walk yesterday, everything. I can see how easy it is to just give in, but I won't; I will not; not mentally ready to give up. But omg, I'm in pain. Ice at my lower back, and the back of my neck, will relieve some inflammation. Too bad I can't ice my legs. I'm truly suffering!
yes it's a headboard... this is what my beds look like...both look like this..You could just pay them to dismantle the beds so the bed store people could remove it. Maybe they could do some other chores while they’re there.
Is bed-head a headboard. Unless we’re buying a bedroom set, there are no headboards. Imo, a room doesn’t look complete without a headboard.
