I've been out to survey my land and any damage.. simply because it's now past 11pm, and I remembered the bin truck will be here early morning so the recycle bin had to go out. It looks like I've done a great job of securing everything, and there's no damage fingers crossed, but I can only see what the security lights show me in the dark.. I'll see more in the morning...

I saw my PCP today. He spent close to 45 minutes with me going over lab results, explaining the pros and a potential con of the new medication he's trying me on and why he's changing my meds. He also answered my questions & addressed my concerns. Overall he's happy that I'm managing my ailments well and we'll be keeling a close eye on my renal function.

Blessedly my son was able to take me & pick me up. On the way home we stopped at KFC because I wanted more of their coleslaw. By the time we got home, it was 6 oclock, my son had a very long day, so we didn't do studio time like we planned.

I started watching Horizon, a British SciFi film that is holding my interest. Watched some before I had to get ready and a bit more after we got back. Still haven't finished. Of course I also played WWF & Cody Cross.

Well it's dry this morning, still windy but not storm force.. Everything seems ok on my property , couple of thick tree branches down, and some of my neighbours fake plants and flowers in my garden.. but the main thing is no structural damage.. thank the Good Lord... 🙏

More rain forecast in an hour's time...
 
Called AccessARide. They said take the first trip to my grandson, then call them for a return trip as they are required to provide one. I hope I can trust this information. I will take the leap of faith. If it doesn't work out................well, you'll hear me screaming in the UK and Australia as well as the entire USA.

Hard to trust a NYC gov't agency, but like I said, I will for now, take that leap of faith.
 
I am hopeful this morning that I can drive my mobility chair to the post office and bank. I need to get my son's rent money order and send it out and get some cash for him from his account. It is cold but I can handle that okay. I would have to walk with my walker if it rains or snows. So finishing my coffee right now then on my way.

Sometimes that is what you have to do. Praying you have a good day and a good ride.
