BLE tracking tags often have a button you can press. You can assign this an action like "ping my phone" to find it as long as you are in range (max ~100 meters).I use mine to locate my cell phone when I misplace it. There must be a better way.
I'm concerned why your doc prescribed a med that interferes with one of your other ones. Will you be asking about that?Yesterday the pharmacy called and said my thyroid medicine was ready. Must be some mistake. I don't have a problem with my thyroid. Later my primary doctor called and said my recent bloodwork showed an underactive thyroid. I picked up the prescription and was told to take it in the morning on an empty stomach. I looked up the side effects and the list of meds that it interferes with. One of them I take daily, in the morning on an empty stomach. Looks like trouble. We shall see.
Some people carry their meds in their pocket in a little container. I will need bushel basket.
Good.I have left a message for him. From what I have read it often just requires a stronger dose of thyroid med. The recording says they will get back to me by the end of the day. Hope so since they are off on the weekend.
I've enjoyed a lot of Fleetwood tracks. Especially liked Christine McVie's vocals & songwriting contributions.Well, looks like this Friday will not be so quiet after all for the third straight day. Such an advantage for a senior to live here in the San Francisco Bay area as there is so much happening one merely needs to check online about.
There is a Fleetwood Mac tribute band playing a 6pm>8pm outdoor concert on downtown streets about a half hour drive north. After seeing the unfamiliar band name, found this Youtube promotional video that shows they are excellent. So in another 4 hours will drive the 26 miles north for more music and dancing fun. Forecast shows 80F at a shady 6pm and 73F at 8pm so pleasant.
I just heard back from primary. The mature nurse who called has the same problem with the same prescriptions. She said keep 45 mins to an hour between meds. Her hint was to take thyroid med when she has early morning bathroom call. Then the gut medicine upon getting up. Then she showers etc., and it's time for food. No waiting 2 hours for breakfast. That was a good idea and reassuring.I'm concerned why your doc prescribed a med that interferes with one of your other ones. Will you be asking about that?
Good.
I open all the bars of soap and store them in an open container so they can dry out. They usually last two or more months. When we travel, I pack my green bar of Pears.I bought four bars of Pears bath soap. When I'm down to three or four bars, I buy again to store it because the longer it's stored, the longer it lasts. A bar lasts me about two months (no kidding!) so by the time I break open the first of the newest ones, it will have been stored 6-8 months.
@packleader, I love watching the birds in our 'hood, too. In addition to others, a canary or parakeet that evidently escaped captivity, about 10 hummingbirds, and numerous huge crows spend a lot of time in our yard or doing fly-bys.
When the pool is uncovered, dragonflies zip about 8" over the surface, then dip down to grab a drink without slowing their flight plan.
Nature is remarkably beautiful.
No, that's the ideal way....I use mine to locate my cell phone when I misplace it. There must be a better way.

And...?Sometimes I have to remind myself that I'm 70 next birthday..![]()
...and I do a whole load more than all the 70 year olds I know... including with my OA in my hands, knees and back.....And...?![]()
but but but...I'm way older than that. Well, to be fair, I don't have OA....and I do a whole load more than all the 70 year olds I know... including my OA in my hands, knees and back.....
yes you are another 12 years older ?... but come back to me when you're driving yourself to bulk buy groceries.. then .. coming home and mowing several lawns and cutting back 100 feet of hedging..in 91 deg temps, sawing and drilling fences... .... then batch cooking portioning and freezing food for 2 weeks.. after you've been alone to the hospital appointment.. all while suffering OA in your knees, fingers, and spine, and in the meantime trying to battle a divorce petition at the same time, while keeping a big house clean ... ... ... we can go there...@hearlady Fact! I've been doing it for years...ever since I read about it online way back when I still lived in Michigan. That's more than 15 years ago. Just buy soap long before you'll need it so it has time to "season," so to speak.
Another way to save a few cents/bucks here and there is that when you have a coupon for something, buy the absolute smallest size shown on the coupon. If you've got a coupon for $1 off something that says "any size," then you get a better deal buying small.
but but but...I'm way older than that. Well, to be fair, I don't have OA.
Oh gosh...I hope it doesn't JBR... and it stays well away from your property tooI may be off the internet, so absent from SF, for an indeterminate period. A wildfire that started a few days ago on the ridge across from us above our valley is moving closer to an internet-transmission tower. It provides the Web and email to us. If it is damaged or destroyed, I'm not sure what our internet options might be, nor how long it would be to get an account and get it connected.
Any how, best wishes to everyone. Be well & happy.
Oh no. I hope they contain it before it gets too close. The main thing is that you and your family stay safe!I may be off the internet, so absent from SF, for an indeterminate period. I hope your day gets better @Pepper Have you ever tried meditation or relaxation exercises? I never used to think these things helped until I went through a stressful time and eventually tried both and it really did help. There are YouTube relaxation/meditation music videos which I used initially. If you haven't already tried these things, it might be worth giving it a go.4:11 am. Guess I'm up for the day. Really need to learn how to shut off mind & get back to sleep. This isn't good. So, got only three hours sleep and I don't want to waste a summer day by napping. Hope I'll be okay.
Family making a trip to Philadelphia to enjoy family activities for a bit, so it's just old me to keep me company this weekend.
