Tuesday morning so Tai Chi Class. We put some good practice in on the Shibashi 18 movement set we've been working on for a while now. Then we isolated the 'Repulse monkey & Cloud Hands' section of the Tai Chi form we practice.

This evening I drove down to Preston to meet the couple who's Wedding I shot in Liverpool recently. It ook over an hour to show them the almost 700 photos that resulted and give them their heart-shaped presentation USB drive. Happy faces :)

I've been sitting on my dead center since Sunday, and it's gotta stop. All I've done is water flowers and new grass. That won't do at all. I get bored, then depressed because I've let my gardening go. There's too much time, effort and money tied up in the garden to ignore it. Besides, I need the exercise. And I do my best thinking in the garden. You know, like solving the problems of hunger and homelessness, global warming, war, pestilence...

It's getting started that's the problem. When I get up and get going, I'm fine. If I get up and lounge around, it just leads to more lounging around. Then it starts getting too warm, yada yada yada, any excuse to do nothing. Today's excuse was that I got all set to go out and get some gardening chores done but already had my Wellies on and the bug repellent was in the kitchen. We know that I couldn't possibly walk inside with my boots on or, heaven forfend, take them off to walk inside, then have to put them back on. Right?

I need to take my bony self firmly in hand.

Well P**p, I just had a nice Hawk on clothes line pole out
back, camera was right there, so attempted a picture, hands
shaking so much from these meds that I dropped the camera,
scared the hawk away, and seems to have broken the camera....so is that a sign??
Aww, sorry Don. I don't believe in "signs". Hopefully the camera is ok.
Maybe the hawk will come back and give you another chance.

How is Foxy-Loxy doing?

Dio hates that I'm always running for a camera. I miss so much, because I'm trying to take a picture. He is trying to teach me that not everything is a Kodak Moment.....just enjoy it for what it is.

I'm glad you got to see the hawk, even though you don't have the picture! Enjoy it for what it is!

Up since three, but at least my shoulders don't hurt. That was driving me up a wall. Very high glucose due to cortisone, and that woke me up thirsty, very thirsty, stomach ache, needed emergency insulin.

Get rid of one problem, along comes another.

Speaking of problems, I'm taking AccessARide twice today but since last week's rides were so normal, I have hope. Spending roof pool day with son/grandson. Love roof pool day. Love roof, incredible view, see all of Manhattan, both rivers, Jersey & Queens too! See Met Museum, Central Park. Expecting nice happy day despite my exhaustion, stomach ache and AAR.

Those could be worth a pretty penny. Hope you can sell them.

Don’t pay attention to the people with problems. They go online to write because things are bad. The majority are smooth sailing. If you don’t have it, you’ll be blind.
Well, they've been played with many times over so they're a little worse for wear. Now the dream house and the sports car, maybe but not much. They're not in new condition either. I'd love to find a family of little girls who could use them.

Today we made ‘sweet cucumber relish.’
We have been growing vegetables and had an abundance of cucumbers so today we decided to make some relish out of some of them. It turned out really good. We got 5 - 1/2 litre jars or 500 millilitres. We’ll probably make some more in a few days. It has ACV in it as well as turmeric in it so is extra healthy. View attachment 361141
I've been making refrigerator pickles. The grands like the sour, DH likes the sweet.

Just received a renewal quote for my house and contents insurance. It was up 50% on last year. They've just lost another customer.
Insurance is just going through the roof everywhere. I have a very good deal with my Car insurance people.. half what I was paying with Direct Line..who couldn't match this one..and I've been with them 4 years now, and they only raised my premiums by £10 each year..until this year when they've raised it £40.. It's still vastly cheaper than others, but still.. it's a lot to find extra..

It's a different day today weather wise.. overcast ..and very humid..humidity is at 76 deg 🥵 temps at 74 F

I cleared a little bit of the shed this morning.. and tidied things away. but I still need to pull everything out and get stuff donated or taken to the recycle..

I'm not doing anything else today. for the last 3 days I've been on the go non stop, and back is really hurting, so I'm staying home today and just doing nothing much..

I got a letter from the private hospital confirming my appointment for later this month.. and then I opened the second letter it was a copy of the first...and the 3rd and the 4th... 4 identical letters telling me I had an appointment ..

Thank you for sharing that wonderful view!

It's a lovely day in the neighborhood and isn't even going to get too hot...maybe 90.

Y'all will be proud of me for not posting first thing, then falling down the rabbit hole that is the webz. Instead I did my morning chores, ate breakfast and trotted my Self out to the garden where a lot was accomplished. Yay me. 🥇There's more to do, just not today.

@hollydolly Yes. A day of rest for you is a good thing. Besides, you've already done your share by having to open those four letters reminding you of the same appointment;)

@hawkdon Can you just put out the food for Mr. Fox or will another critter come along and eat it?

Okay, then. It's only 10am. I need to think of something to do for the rest of the day. Bluing my hair comes to mind. It's way past time.

ETA: OMG! I missed National Lazy Day. It was Saturday, the 10th.
