Has anybody commented yet? Anyways, it's often called "back bacon" up here.oh okay....got a funny about Canadian Bacon, when my lady
was coming down from toronto to visit me in missouri I asked
to bring some canadian bacon along, well she did, but it was
same type bacon we have here LOL...guess the customs people
gave her a funny look also LOL....
There's a baked product called "English muffin" in North America. I read some commentary about everyday life in Britain, in which it was said there's no "English muffin" in England. Turns out the product we know over here is a sort of poor interpretation of the English crumpet.

One of her assignments for this week was to find an apartment she'd like (if she wasn't living on campus), figure out how much it would cost up front to move in, including security deposit and furniture, etc., then figure out how much she'd need to save per paycheck to be able to pay that amount. I think it was an eye opener for her and she realizes she has to trim her spending even more (she can be a spendthrift). She also realized that she'll need to leave campus six months earlier than she originally thought after finishing her masters program in 2026.
