How neat are you?

I truly hated dusting/ vacuuming when I live at my small 1 bdrm apt,it seemed every week I had to do so
Since moving here to Canterbury Woods, I don't have to worry , housekeeping takes care of it every Mon
I've made my bed every day for yrs,I empty the waste paper baskets a couple times /week take my other trash bagged up to the trash area down the hall
I basically a neat person

When I was working, some might have called my place a "sty", and they wouldn't have been that far off. Since I got retired, I've cleaned up my act and my place. I even make the bed everyday.

Love this. I am not NATURALLY neat. Which means I have to work hard at being neat. Naturally, I'm messy. Like a lawyers desk messy.

When I was living alone, I had two dinner plates, one set of cutlery, one mug, and one glass. Why? Mess. It forced me to wash up, to keep things clean. I need that sort of incentive. Since my wife has returned, I'm regressed terribly.

I used to be so, so particular about our house and organization in the past. Long story short, I haven't been the same since our Autistic son escaped his so-called safe care facility on foot and was hit and run on a freeway. He survived but ever since then (6/6/22), I could give a crap about how my house looks and unfortunately, I don't care how it looks now. Just can't get motivated to make it look better. Someone mentioned no visitors so no personal worries. Well, me too.

I prefer to be neat but at heart I'm a mess cat. No offense to cats. I have to put effort into neatness.

Very neat. I am always straightening things and putting things away. Sometimes, I will take something out to use and then put it away before i have had a chance to use it! I am a tidy-upper addict

Being in the military for 30 years taught me to be well organized.
It’s a habit I never broke. I have no incoming bills .
They are all set up on auto-pay. Eliminates papers lying around.

I prefer the looks of a neat house. I have renters so I try to keep the common areas tidy. My personal space suffers. I can live with it.

I'm pretty neat. I like things clean and organized and like @MACKTEXAS. My own bathroom is always clean, but things I use on a daily basis could be more organized. The second bathroom is rarely used, so it's always available for visitors.

I found that I wasted a lot of valuable time talking on the phone. So now I dust while talking or windex glass items.

I won't ask guests to remove their shoes, but if it's snowy, salted or wet outside I will offer bootie shoe covers. I take off my shoes when I come in, and have a pair of slippers just inside the door.

I make the bed MOST days. If for some reason I don't, the bedroom door is closed.
