Some are, just like some Muslims are, and now we can say that some Jews are.
If what Israel has been doing for the past month isn't terrorism, nothing is. Their actions against Hamas and the associated collateral damage can be justified to some extent, but what they're doing in Iran, that's a little hard to justify.
I'm kind of surprised there aren't protests in Israel against Netanyahu. Maybe there are...
There have been protests in Israel...
The demonstrations in early April 2026 are primarily driven by opposition to the ongoing military campaign and government policies:
- Opposition to the War with Iran: Protesters have been calling for an immediate end to the war, which is currently in its sixth week, urging for de-escalation and dialogue.
- Replacement of the Government: Many demonstrators are demanding Netanyahu's resignation, accusing him of using the conflict for personal political gain.
- Independent Inquiries: There are ongoing demands for a state commission of inquiry to investigate the government's handling of the events leading up to the October 7 attack.
- Legislative Disputes: Protests have also targeted specific laws, such as the 2026 state budget and proposed exemptions from military service for ultra-Orthodox men.
