If reincarnation really exists

If reincarnation exists， it's probably not your choice wether you want to reborn or not, and where or who you will be born to.

What is reincarnation? A cowboy asks his friend.​

It starts, his old pal told him, when your life comes to an end.

They wash your neck and comb your hair and clean your fingernails,
And put you in a padded box away from life's travails.

The box and you go in a hole that's been dug in the ground.
Reincarnation starts in when you're planted 'neath that mound.

Them clods melt down, just like the box, and you who is inside.
And that's when you begin your transformation ride.

And in a while the grass will grow upon your rendered mound,
Until some day, upon that spot, a lonely flower is found.

And then a horse may wander by and graze upon that flower
That once was you, and now has become your vegetated bower.

Now, the flower that the horse done eat, along with his other feed,
Makes bone and fat and muscle essential to the steed.

But there's a part that he can't use and so it passes through.
And there it lies upon the ground, this thing that once was you.

And if perchance, I should pass by and see this on the ground,
I'll stop awhile and ponder at this object that I've found.

I'll think about Reincarnation and life and death and such,
And come away concludin', why, you ain't changed all that much.

Reincarnation? I never gave it much thought, but since you asked, I know what will happen after my life has ended here on earth, but if reincarnation would happen, I have a few ideas of what I would like to come back as.
I would like to be:

One of Jesus’ apostles
Doc Holliday
Henry Ford
Wilbur Wright
Albert Einstein
JFK
JFK, Jr.

Any one of those would suit.
 
No thanks, wouldn't want to come back. I have had, not an easy life, but lovely life and am thankful for my family and friends.
I'm afraid watching what is happening in the world today is so sad. Looking at all the people suffering as bombs are aimed
at their counties. Little children suffering and confused whilst billionaires are living the good life when they should be helping.
What has happened to mankind.?
 
I want to come back with some kind of musical ability. To be skilled on some instrument. This life time I have no musical ability whatsoever other than knowing what I like to listen to. Believe me, I’ve tried to learn a couple of instruments with no success. I also have a terrible singing voice.
 
If I were to be reincarnated, I would like to come back as a bear. Most people would be afraid of me and run away, I would spend all summer eating as much as possible with getting as fat as possible as the goal, sleeping all winter, then waking up in the spring skinny.
 
I think we've all lived before and will continue our journey in the direction of the divine.
What is the end of our journey? I don't know....but a Buddhist nun once advised me to not bring suffering to any living beings and to try and be helpful. Loving kindness and acquiring knowledge are meant to be essential qualities to embrace on our journey, so she said.
I think it's good counsel.
 
Don't be silly how can they recycle souls?

If reincarnation really exists then the Middle East is doomed to generations of tit for tat violence.
