I post anonymously on a forum because I am then free to be myself.
I can talk about things that would possibly alienate my family and friends but I hope I am authentic with everyone.
I just choose to reveal different aspects of myself to different groups.

Good question and fun to read the responses here. I never EVER talk politics in real life or I'd end up estranged from half of my family and friends, but here I spend most of my time in the political forum so, yes, I'm a little different in real life Things get intense in the political forum. I'm braver here, facing negative political issues, but in real life I leave politics on the back burner, my conversation is lighter and super positive (do I hear laughter lol). Three days ago I overheard my daughter telling my other daughter that she has a really sweet client "just like mom is". But did I mention she loves EVERYbody?

I know what you're saying but you're not such a tough guy. When you were new to the forum, I said half jokingly, if you don't care about making friends then the politics forum is fun and you truthfully replied, "I care about making friends"....busted:tongue:

I'm funnier in real life. It's hard to show emotions online , but in real situations , I'm the "class clown" . My humor is always meant to make people feel better & smile

I'm quieter online. I read a lot on this forum and others without responding but in person, I talk and cut up. People are always laughing and telling me, "You're crazy", "You're a nut", etc. I just don't have much to say online so everyone enjoy it while you can.
