This talk of WWIII brings up a question in my mind. There are so many conflicts big and small happening now in all corners of the world. I guess what I'm asking is what *determines* what would be defined as a world war? Would we *know* that's what it is right away? Would the determination be a certain number of countries being involved?
When Pearl Harbor was bombed, did people like my grandparents know it was WWII or was it just named that well into the conflict? It's not even 5 a.m. yet, so I hope this isn't a question my pre-coffee brain should know the answer to. I woke up with a thought in my head "wow, what if we're already
IN WWIII? And then got to wondering what would need to happen for us to know.
Thank you all for putting up with my prattle... going for my

now. I reserve the right to delete this post if someone gives me an answer so obvious that it causes me extreme embarrassment.
