World governments get their egos hurt when someone reveals their dirt
Such a complex situation. I can't wait to read the inevitable book the guy writes.
Apparently, the Go Fund Me Page has so far raised. thousands, . and the rest was from an anonymous Bitcoin donor who contributed $500 thousand to cover his expenses to Australia.why would that little plane cost $800,000 k?.. and who paid for it ?
Almost all of that is wrong, aside from the sexual assault allegations they tried to nail him for.I don't know much about this guy. I remember him as a super hacker that had some dubious politicians in an uproar, and that he was at least accused of being a rapist. I wasn't too impressed with any reports of his actions and character. He got more than his allotted minutes of fame but not really from actions worth admiration.
Well I don't claim to know all the facts, nor do I want too. The fact is he an unsavory character, and not one I'll lose any sleep over.Almost all of that is wrong, aside from the sexual assault allegations they tried to nail him for.
Identifying info was carefully redacted. Nobody died because of the exposure of American violations. I'll bet even the guys who were flying that God-forsaken Apache helicopter that took out a bunch of innocent people, never even got a nasty letter in their files.I am not an admirer of a man whose actions may well have contributed to the deaths of UK, USA and no doubt other countries service men and women.
That was an atrocity and totally criminal and the world owes Julian Assange a debt of gratitude for exposing the truth of what was going on. He paid a massive price for being a truth teller.Decide for yourself. Hero, or traitor?
His lawyer addressed this....https://nypost.com/2019/04/14/julian-assanges-lawyer-poop-smearing-story-is-total-crap/.I'm sure he was very depressed-
"London -- Ecuador revoked Julian Assange's asylum status because he smeared his feces on the walls of the country's embassy, Ecuador's President Lenin Moreno said.
In an interview with CBS News' partner BBC News, Moreno said Assange "even attacked some of the guards, something that definitely can't be tolerated."
"He exhausted our patience and pushed our tolerance to the limit," Moreno said.
The WikiLeaks founder was arrested by British police earlier this month. Ecuador had granted him asylum in 2012 and he spent seven years living in the country's London embassy under its protection."
