Julian Assange released from prison

I'm sure he was very depressed-

"London -- Ecuador revoked Julian Assange's asylum status because he smeared his feces on the walls of the country's embassy, Ecuador's President Lenin Moreno said.

In an interview with CBS News' partner BBC News, Moreno said Assange "even attacked some of the guards, something that definitely can't be tolerated."

"He exhausted our patience and pushed our tolerance to the limit," Moreno said.

The WikiLeaks founder was arrested by British police earlier this month. Ecuador had granted him asylum in 2012 and he spent seven years living in the country's London embassy under its protection."

Activists are a part of life. Look at the long list of big mouths. They have their rights. Most cause a lot of trouble.
But most all you hear mainstream daily is just a constant line of B.S. and usually a pack of lies. Check out the Fact Checkers too.
I guess what is going on today is not so good for most all of us as the years pass.

I don't know much about this guy. I remember him as a super hacker that had some dubious politicians in an uproar, and that he was at least accused of being a rapist. I wasn't too impressed with any reports of his actions and character. He got more than his allotted minutes of fame but not really from actions worth admiration.

Almost all of that is wrong, aside from the sexual assault allegations they tried to nail him for.

I am not an admirer of a man whose actions may well have contributed to the deaths of UK, USA and no doubt other countries service men and women.
Identifying info was carefully redacted. Nobody died because of the exposure of American violations. I'll bet even the guys who were flying that God-forsaken Apache helicopter that took out a bunch of innocent people, never even got a nasty letter in their files.

His lawyer addressed this....https://nypost.com/2019/04/14/julian-assanges-lawyer-poop-smearing-story-is-total-crap/.

Doesn't even make sense anyway. The guy isn't a lunatic and who would do those sorts of things except a lunatic? And attacking the people who are protecting you? More accurately probably, it was costing the Ecuadorian government about $55,000 a month for the security arrangements and they probably got tired of the situation and the USA was pressuring them to kick him out. That silly claim was an excuse to let the police in.
