RindeeLegs.jpg This picture is perhaps my most awesome selfie ever, showing my powerfully built legs! Everything is built from the ground up, so a successful bodybuilding workout program should focus on legs! I have a fully equipped home gym, with 2 leg curl machines, a squat rack, and leg press-hack squat machine, and a calf machine, so needless to say, you know where my focus is when I work out!
Often doing upwards of 100+ reps with 150 lbs. in the squat, I maxed out at 405 lbs. for 3 reps. I would also run, bike, I have an elliptical stepper, and treadmill. I can't count the number of times people have stopped me, asking me how I built my legs :). In 2003, I traveled to the Rio Grande Valley where my mom lived, to visit.
She has a cousin who owned a small gym in town, and told her I could workout there for free during my stay, so one afternoon I did just that. I walked in and immediately noticed that no one was working legs! There were many men with big upper bodies, and very skinny legs :(.
I went to change and came out, warmed up on a stationary bike, stretched out, then, headed to the squat rack. All eyes were on the long-haired stranger, in wonder of what I was going to do. I heard a few chuckles, but I loaded the bar with 2- 45 lbs. plates and started out. After a few sets, I loaded 2 more 45 lbs. plates....then 3 (on each side of the bar that is) ...now, everyone was watching, I looked around and said "I'm just warmin' up!" I kept loading more weights each set until the total was 350 lbs. (the bar weighs 35 lbs., so actually 385 lbs.).
I blasted out 26 reps on the last set!!! Omg....the gym was rockin!! That was it, I was finished, then it was on the do leg curls, and then calves. I put on quite a show for that little gym. People were comin' up to me and shaking my hand, like wow! Mom told me her cousin said that not long after I worked out there, he saw more people working legs....yeah! I left my mark, "Work them legs!" Rindee

You're kind of an exhibitionist, Rindee. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
I've never been called that, but, I guess it would apply lol! I have been a musician, an exotic dancer, competed in fitness contests, and I have my own fully equipped home gym that has helped me along the way! I have worked so hard on my appearance and fitness, so why not show it off while I still can! When I go out for bike rides, jogging or walks...I literally stop traffic! That let's me know I must be doing it right lol! :)

An exhibitionist is someone who exposes intimate body parts (breasts, *******s, buttocks).
To me there 'is' something wrong with that, and I don't think that what Rindee is doing.

Perhaps showing off other body parts (ie: legs) on a social platform is more about seeking approval, validation and attention.
That's my perspective.

I used to perform with a dance troupe, and often get compliments on my legs, but I don't feel the need to show them to the world.

There are several definitions of exhibitionist, and yes, all would apply to me over my lifetime so far lol!! I don't seek anyone's approval, I just like to show the results of a lifetime of hard work in the gym, and at the dinner table too, which results in having this build at age 62! If people like me, great, if not, great too lol! I do it all for health, mental as well as physical. If a man compliments me at the store or anywhere, yes, I do like that......some whistle, some boo me. I prefer the whistles of course lol!

imageedit_7_2591790347.jpg After my Friday night workout in my gym, sitting on my seated legs curl machine, which revolutionized my training! Having a gorgeous set of legs, opens many doors...literally lol! :)

Far and away, the best legs video I ever made! This was last fall, October, after my Friday Nights legs workout in my home gym. This one shows the true size from front and side views, which shows the overall development of my thighs, working them from all angles, maintaining their size and shape at age 62...it can be done (if you know what you doin' lol)!

I was a nude model in 1980 at the Academy of Art College (Now the Academy of Art University) in San Francisco and was paid $6.50 an hour. Sometimes on rare occasions they would have me wear a bathing suit but 95% of the time they wanted me to model nude. I avoided weights and would swim everyday to keep toned. I think their models today make more that $40.00 an hour.

Did you get copies of your pictures? You must be very confident in yourself to do that.

Wow. Did you ever have to stand naked in front of the art class? If so was it physically difficult at times? For instance the pose that you are doing in this picture? Did your arms ever get tired?

Yes, of course, I had to stand naked in front of the art class—that’s what models are hired to do. And, yes, it could be a little tiring at times. In sculpture class, I was surrounded by art students and had to make quarter turns periodically while they sculpted me in clay. Throughout the process, students continually measured my body with calipers—specialized tongs used to ensure accurate proportions.

The word 'exhibitionist' is a pejorative for someone who likes to show off ie maybe someone who likes to click his heels as he walks --nothing wrong with showing off, it's fun
