Looking out the backdoor?

Looking out your window at the forest is the best place to be. I miss doing that.
You really did a good thing, keeping your journal of homesteading. I loved reading about your life back then. Do you have your website somewhere in your profile? I am sure others would love to read it. I got to know you much closer by reading it. :)

@IrishEyes I can tell you have been around the block. I too lived in a big city for about a year. NYC! :)

You lived in NYC?

looks a bit spartan and lonely? - you'd need a very good companion?
Hey @smiley , I am very curious about what you mean by spartan.?I have been here for 40 years and never heard that description along with lonely. I have lived with friends the whole time, so though loneliness is s state of mind, I have on occasion felt lonely here. Buy mainly I feel very content living here. I love the mountains, trees, and all the free, wild animals in the forest. So Sparta it is not, closer to Nottingham Forest. :)

don't take my view too seriously - I could have said 'bleak' perhaps - but it was my reaction to the pic which looked a bit colorless and bleak ?? in my eyes anyway?
