I didn't, but I just looked it up on Youtube. What total BS. "Jesus" this and "Jesus" that. Communicating with the dead, saying her children and her husband's ex-wife weren't murdered and that she knows the people she helped murder are happy in Heaven. Dying and going back to her body?

She's either a very good actress or she's totally gone off the deep end! In either case, she got what she deserved. This is worth a watch because it is so unbelievable.
 
If she didn't kill anyone many would see her outlook as being perfectly fine. It's about time to start using terms like stupid and ignorant again. We give nuts like her too much equal weight in society. We brought folks like her to respectability in our fear of being 'elitist.' Phooey. It's our duty to dismantle these nuts whenever possible.

On our way to reality, society pulls back in fear and outlooks like hers are given credence. We're tolerating these religious fanatics to our detriment.

Yep, and I don't much care which, only that she never sees the light of day again.

Don't know why people like this are allowed to make statements of any kind, they have nothing to say I want to hear...

Exactly. I can see why the victims' families are allowed time to speak but not the perp---the jury speaks for them.

I [think] it is just all part of our legal system. IMO, that way they can't say they were not afforded all that was available too them.

I would rather listen to her babbel , then take a chance on a legal technicality causing a re-trial , reduced sentence etc. Later on.

What would you do? Lock up all religious people? What would that solve?

There have been plenty of evil people like the Golden State killer who did horrible things without any religious belief behind them. In fact the majority of people in prison for violent crimes practice no religion at all.

Lorri is an evil narcissist who thinks she is superior to everyone else in the world and only happened to use her own distorted, self-interested, interpretation of the Bible to justify herself in he own eyes. She would have done horrible things with some other excuse if she hadn't latched on to her false "Scriptures." The Bible didn't make her evil, she is evil and just cherry picked lines from the Bible to use to her purpose.

Timothy McVeigh used a work of fiction, "The Turner Diaries," to justify his actions and all the lives he called"collateral damage." White Nationalists are still using it today.

If we start locking people up for their beliefs, whether it's belief in space aliens at Wright Pat's area B, or belief in Jesus, or belief that Science is King and never wrong, or that communism is the way to equality or that the following fashion is the most important path, then we're going to live in a world without freedom of thought and that's worse to me than any kind of slavery I've ever heard of.

Anti-christian bigotry is growing every day and countries that have managed to almost wipe it out, like Russia, don't seem greatly improved to me.
 
Modern Russia is seeped in religion! Putin is a church-goer! Now that that's out of the way of course I wouldn't put religious people in jail, just put a Close Look on drastic inanities and Call Them Out.

Evil? Isn't the basis for most religions "good vs. evil"? People who believe in evil can never prove that it actually exists. The prosecution proved by evidence, beyond a reasonable doubt, that she is guilty. Everyone has very different beliefs because of their complex conditioning. I can understand that she is damaged but evil?

God has a perfect plan for everyone but not everyone follows it. In fact no one does perfectly.
Following our own plan always falls way short of perfection. We all lose our focus.
The more focused we are the better life can be.

I'm not defending Lori Vallow she's going to prison, as she should for doing bad, illegal things. I use the word bad because evidently some people don't like the word evil (which means extremely, profoundly bad.)

It's Pepper who thinks we should lock people up for their beliefs. It was her statement about no tolerating religious fanatics that I was responding to, that's why I quoted it.

You're going to say evil doesn't exist because you can't prove it exists? Can you prove that good exists? What would you call Hitler? A misguided fellow?

Are you speaking for God? Does your belief system only attribute good. Considering the evil of murdering all mankind with the exception of Noah & his family. How do you know that wasn't planned as in math an incremental act? It could be a demonstration of mind control.
