My son and his wife were in a serious car accident.

Oh noooo, I'm just seeing this. Shalimar is a sweetheart and has been there for me through thick and thin in this forum and I would miss her terribly if she doesn't return  She's a special person. She is so caring and unafraid to take a stand for other members when it's right and support is lacking.

Shalimar, if you read this, my message is to hang in there with all the strength you can muster because, as long as you are alive, you still have purpose here on earth to finish. You need to be here for your son when he wakes up. You can do this. We love you and you're in our prayers. May God give the doctors wisdom, focus, clarity, and all you need to pull through...until it's time for Him to take you "Home" someday in His perfect timing.

As I look at the things Shalimar has posted around this forum and the many PM’s she’s sent to me, and the things she has ‘shown’ me in those PM’s, I see a very unique person. Someone who seems to genuinely want to help people, and from what I can see publicly, has helped people here.

She has shown me someone who is intelligent, very perceptive, funny and fun loving. Skilful in different ways, and in ways we might not be able to imagine. She has taken me on a journey of thought, taken me to many different places. Places that I’m not sure I wanted to be. Places that might be incomprehensible to others. Places that later, I’ve felt I can or should embrace.

Some of those places might be mine, some might be Shalimars. Some of those places, Shalimar’s places, might have been ‘shared’ with others by her. Places shared that might take time to get used to. Those others might know what I’m referring to. Places on many different levels, that may spin us around.

Whatever her situation right now, if we genuinely care of a person and their situation, we can only wish her well, and wish well of the people around her.

This thread was created by Shalimar. It was created for a reason. It’s in the Diary section for a reason. It’s Shalimar’s diary.

When @Shalimar posted about helping her clients and the very tragic times they endured, I was moved by her compassion and the things she faced in helping them.

When Shalimar spoke about her own early struggles, I felt she is one heck of a woman. Her tenacity and caring was so evident in her posts.

Since she told us about her son and dil's car accident, I have kept all three of them in my prayers and had hoped to read that there was good progress.

We never know the depth of the stress and strife others are dealing with, even if they share some of their heartaches.

Shalimar you gave me a tiny snapshot of your work and your connection to your clients. You deserve everything good to come your way.

Still thinking of you and yours.

@Shalimar Hope you are feeling the light, love, and good wishes for you and yours from us out here in the forums.
