Name something you still have from the 70’s

have you got anything uploaded to Youtube ?
Not really... There's some stuff I've done that the bands posted on there, but I wouldn't know where to find them after this long. That was mostly cover stuff for promo use to get bookings.

I found a box of 25 shotshells for skeet shooting back when I competed.
They were from "Gemco" which is now "Target."
The price sticker is still on the box - $1.99. (around $15.00 now)
The brass is corroded, so they're not safe to use.

Gemco! This was my dads when I was younger.

This was given to me when the lyricist for the song said that he had written it, and I told him, "In your dreams." We were in our favorite coffee shop in Butler, NJ. Dave also wrote a column for a local newspaper and was a favorite with us regulars. I had mentioned I'd heard the song on the radio by Bobby Vinton, which is how the subject even came up. A day or so later, he strolled in with this and handed it to me. I fell all over myself, apologizing from embarrassment. He just laughed and told me to forget it. I'll cherish this forever.

I still have a jade and gold cross my dad gave me for one of my birthdays. I had wanted a squash blossom necklace like all the celebrities were sporting but they were almost $500. so I guess dad figured a BIG gaudy necklace was what I wanted. :ROFLMAO: It wasn't. I still have it because it is real jade but I never wore it once. I just leave it by my bedside table to remember him and that I try to be a Christian and that "You can't always get what you want." ☺️

Until our last move I had my POW bracelet, which disappeared from the dresser. Yes, my guy survived and is doing well in FL but I have not contacted him. I also have a leather headband and another one with peace signs on it. Those were the days my friend!

Most of my furniture. My first husband and I were poor newly weds (ie just graduated from Uni) and could not afford new furniture. Older furniture (book cases, china cabinet, depression glassware, all made from the 1900 to 1920) were not popular and that is all we could afford. Now almost 60 years later, I still have the "old" furniture and friends are always surprise that I can afford these quality pieces!!

I live in a house built around the 1920 and the furniture looks like it came with the house.

My yoyo somewhere. I took that thing everywhere when I was in the military. People would ask me "What's in your pocket?" I would tell them my yoyo. The next thing they say is 'why does a grown man carry a yoyo in his pocket. I told them it was a great stress reliever and it was.

I got my yoyo when I was 11 for a Christmas gift from my Gramps. I opened the gift and there was my Duncan Yoyo. I probably replaced the string at least a dozen times. I even had my Colonel go out and buy one. He would use it in his office so no one would see him. He told me once that when he is feeling stressed, he gets his yoyo out of his desk and plays with it. He once told me I was right. It does help to relieve stress.
