DaveA post # 36 is precise, but still I have a nagging Why, How, Who are these people?

Trade can be a bit provocative, if you read him close you will find elements of yourself in his statements; elements you/I do not with to recognize or deal with.
(also, he elicits snits, like snits, mostly)

Peppers #50. agree, but imagine being 25 and ignorant and here comes a fell'a with an explanation of why your a loser.
'You had no part in the way things are, it's them.'
'Tell me more (any explanation will do that explains my raggedy-ass plight).

Read Jewish History-they have contributed more to society than any other group.
Yes, they are a closed group; we fear closed groups, we fear their differences.
We fear those things we do not understand, always have, always will.

Middle Ages, Europe, Did the 'smart guys' say, 'Look their different, we can disenfranchise all of them and seize their property, money...'
Lot of dangles to that explanation, but that is what happened and it was so easy; drum the religious differences!

Our species ain't noted for their smarts, us boneheads outnumber them that think-we got the numbers, 'come use us.'

People don’t also realize that the Rainbow Coalition keep these groups in their sites as well.
 
By far, the Hammerskin Nation, which got its start in Texas, is by far the baddest of all hate groups and skinheads in the U.S.

They may not be a threat to the existence of countries (not yet anyway), but have proven themselves to be a murderous threat to individuals, sometimes dozens at a pop.

Folks society changes ever 10 years, twenty years the changes become apparent. You have to know the history or those your concerned with,, history is not an ancient, static series of events' especially in our age. where changes are so rapid we (I) cannot keep up with the changes

You got that right. With technology evolving as fast as it has been, what’s new today is old tomorrow. Then there is social media. You can put a single untruth on your Facebook page and before you know it, half the world is talking about it.

I’ve known high school bullies that when we would question them, they would admit to not even knowing the person they were bullying. They did it just because so many others were and wanted to hop onboard.

That's exactly right, Pepper. We both know that very well. My mom had to go hide in the coal cellar in the apartment building when the Gestapo came around pounding on doors. This was in Vienna, Austria.

I worked with a Trooper right after I became a State Policeman, whose dad was taken prisoner while living outside Berlin. The family is Jewish. He escaped and was kept hidden by a German farm family that also helped other Jews. When I met him, he began telling me stories of his capture. When he finished, my handkerchief was wet.

He made such an impression on me, I asked him if he would come and speak to our parishioners. He agreed. He spoke for almost an hour. He was asked to only speak for 30 minutes. Everyone that I took notice to had wet or red eyes. After the service, people surrounded him.

It was and still is our habit to take up a love offering and donate it to our speaker. At first he refused to accept it, but with our Pastor’s urging, he very graciously took the money. Years later, after his passing, I attended his graveside service only.
