Non- whites will be the majority in the US, UK and Europe begining in 2045.

IMO the racial makeup of the nation doesn't matter.

What matters most to me is that we develop our nation's human capital to meet the challenges of the future.

Hmmm.....I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Hard for me to think in racist terms, not how I think of people. The perfect incident proving it isn't all just color, it just happened a few days ago.
Race riot in the southern US. A black man picked up a hurt white and carried him out of trouble. He told the news people that it was the thing to do. For any man to step forward to do what was right in a riot is a hero, regardless of color.
Nuff said on this from me.

Just read this link. Wow!

The wife in this case is actually a qualified solicitor and has one more level to which she can appeal. She wanted a legal, UK civil union when she married and the husband refused ...imagine that ...no need for a prenup when your Sharia 'courts' aren't going to award a divorcing wife squat and the nation in which you live doesn't recognize the marriage as legal.

Holly, as others have pointed out, Arabic is a language. I did look up the word Arab, and found this:

a member of a Semitic people, originally from the Arabian peninsula and neighboring territories, inhabiting much of the Middle East and North Africa.

Which makes sense. Most of the people we think of as Arabs are either from the Middle East (not sure what continent that is on) or North Africa.

IMHO, I think we would all be better off if we quit sorting people into groups like Asian-American, Latino, African-American, etc., and certainly would stop thinking that everyone who belongs to whatever hyphenated subset is stereotypically alike, acts alike, votes alike, etc. I wish we could all be just Americans and focus on the ways in which we are similar instead of the ways in which we are different.

Over the years, people of all colors seem to be racist. Looking past a person’s color in my view will never happen. White, red, black, yellow, brown and any other colors in between all seem to end up being self-segregated into their own groups.

Not understanding why skin color is still such an issue with some people.

Well, much like MLK said....It is not the color of their skin, it is indeed the 'content' of their character .

And frankly, the the content of their character [behavior] that i have experienced is not conducive to embracing them.

Then there is the reported news...... darn near every day, here locally there is a black on black shooting. Why is that never protested by the black community ? Why is it that when these occur, no one wants to help the police find who did it ? ....... and get them off the street ?

The orient...but I'm English so perhaps the terminology is different for us.
It is one of those definitional/bureaucratic labelling problems with what to call people from India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka versus people such as Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese and Cambodian. Indians, Pakistanis, Sri Lankans and Bangladeshis who look similar racially but are from countries that are on the continent that includes Oriental races such as China and Japan. The latest jargon is to call people from India or Pakistani who are American, "Indo-Americans" rather than just lumping them in under the rubric "Asian". The problem with labelling Indo-Americans as Asian Americans is creates a bigger number, making it seem as though Asians are fast replacing Caucasian Americans as the majority, which is alarmist to some people.

Now that kind of categorizing bothers me. But since it doesn't bother you, so be it.

Human race is one race....
But pay attention to the animal world....
Same species cant share the same ground....
But of course us humans are civilized....
Right?????

"Categorizing" ? I should just ignore what I see ?
