I can't even read about this anymore. It's ridiculous beyond comprehension. That anyone, even law enforcement and the courts even dream of taking this crap seriously, is almost unimaginable.

What's left of our generation will go down in history along with the Z's and the M's, etc, as the most foolish in History. (or is it "Herstory", lol)

Unfortunately, I fear the suicide rate will sky rocket. It is more tragic than ridiculous.
 
How is this going to impact the greeting card industry? How the heck do I know what kind of card to send to anyone recognizing a significant event in their lives?

For fear of mis-identifying someone, maybe just stop sending cards?
 
About the woman, who was 'arrested for calling somone a man. That was not the entire reason she was arrested. According to court documents, she viciously kept up a long history of harrassment of the other person, using several aliases, with long abususive tirades, offensive language, and a direct "vicious campaign" of multiple insults, and threats.
 
I recently retired from a local college. Yes they use the gender pronouns in emails, in person, etc. I had to remember to call a colleague (who looked female) but did not identify as male or female as they/them. I was corrected when I would forget. Give me a break. If you look like a duck, walk, like a duck, you are a duck.

They are claiming she did, she's denying it. However if she did actually do such, most places would simply ban that person from commentating further.

Not sling them into a gulag. If I did such here and on FB, or other forums. I'd be banned, not arrested.

That's rather intolerant, don't you think? If someone prefers to use the indentifier "they/them," why should that bother you?
