As one who played weddings, big time, for thirty years, I've seen/heard it all. We always had requests for "first dance" tunes. Some were weird, some just wrong. This guy with one hand, and his new bride, had us do, "One hand, one heart," from West Side Story. This other couple wanted "Cherish," by The Association, until I explained it was about unrequited love. Too many others to list, but the preceding two stand out in my mind. A couple, I didn't play for, wanted, and got, "Highway to Hell," for their recessional. They divorced within the first six months, as I recall.
