Good to read you're back in the saddle @PappyI want to thank everyone who wished me well while I was in the hospital. You are all such good Friends.
Until next time, be happy.
Happy Pappy..
Oh no. I misread again. Thinking enjoy your new Dear Wife. I’m losing it.Enjoy your new DW. I sure am enjoying mine!
My bad, @Jules. Sorry. Poor choice of abbreviation. Of course DW means Dear Wife! Hope Pappy is enjoying both.Oh no. I misread again. Thinking enjoy your new Dear Wife. I’m losing it.
Sending Thelma well wishes for a better night’s sleep. She is a dear wife.
What a wonderful present. Not sure if I mentioned this before, but my wonderful children have a house cleaner coming every other week. Theresa was here last Saturday and did a fantastic job.
Pappy... my knees are like Thelmas when they're at their worst pain...just feel like Bone on Bone.. and that's what it is with little or no cartilage I had steroid injections in mine..it relieved the pain BIG time.. has Thelma tried that ?It’s been cool here last couple of mornings so I turned on my Amish made heater to take out the chill.
My go to guy will be here today to install our new dishwasher. Not happy with the Samsung we had, so going with Hotpoint this time. Made by Whirlpool.
Thelma and I went to Tastee Freeze for lunch. Hot dogs and thick milkshakes. I get my hot dog smothered with melted cheese. So good.Thelma likes mustard and sourkraut on hers. It’s about a 15 minute drive up US 1 from our place.
Thelma’s knee is getting worst. She says it feels like bone on bone but feels she is too old to go through operation and therapy. Trying to find something mobile or something to help her. We have canes and a nice walker but maybe I’m missing something that could help. Suggestions appreciated.
That’s it for today.Living the dream. Pappy
She has an appointment this Wednesday. I wouldn’t be surprised if she gets a shot. I hope so.Pappy... my knees are like Thelmas when they're at their worst pain...just feel like Bone on Bone.. and that's what it is with little or no cartilage I had steroid injections in mine..it relieved the pain BIG time.. has Thelma tried that ?

The "Thelmabile"Took my wife to her knee doctor today and her X-rays show bone on bone in her knee cap. Now she decides if surgery is something she wants to do. It’s a nano type and it can be done as an outpatient. I think she will have it as it is so painful.
Got home and I had a rare boost of energy so I cleaned up my wife’s scooter. Who ever owned it before wasn’t big on keeping it clean. Need to find a basket to fit the brackets that are on the scooter.
Still living the dream. Pappy

I hope Thelma accepts the surgery as an outpatient. I've not heard of it here .. as far as I know everyone here has it done as an in patient.Took my wife to her knee doctor today and her X-rays show bone on bone in her knee cap. I like that Rose. The "Thelmabile"
6MPH davey. Also has what they call Turtle speed. About 3 MPH.wot's top speed on that Pappy?
Thanks Blessed. We will keep an open mind and I will always do what’s best for her.I was upset that my orothopedist had me do an overnight when I had my hip replacement. There are many doctors here that do it as a day surgery. I think it will depend on her overall health and mobility. This was just my doctors mode of operation. I know I would have rested better in my own bed.
Just keep an open mind, if they give the option, let her decide what is right for her. She will know if the pain is bad and she feels better/safer staying at the hospital that would be the thing to do.
