Does anyone else watch this show? I get it on HBO. I've enjoyed it for years, but lately find it very disappointing. I think many of his guests are chosen to boost ratings, rather than having anything interesting to say.

yes. I use to watch his show. I always thought he was a little snarky, but lately his show just isn't that poignant or funny anymore. I also have watched his new "hang out with the ultra wealthy Bill Mayer in his man cave and drink and smoke pot." I thought the Mike Tyson one was pretty good. But enough is enough.

I watch Bill and have for years. One major thing he deserves credit for: Being the very first person, extremely early on, to say you-know-who would never leave willingly. This was early 2017. Masterful insight.

Yes, lately he's a real pain in the ass sometimes, but so are most people.

When he made the case for you know who wouldn’t leave willingly, he meant that the military would have to remove him physically. Either way, you know who was out of the WH willingly and on time.

Maher is a comedian and entertainer. I enjoy listening to his anecdotal retorts. Bob Hope was very good at telling political jokes as was George Carlin. Carlin could make me laugh just by walking on the stage. I saw Carlin twice in concert.

The real funny man who many people didn’t like was Sam Kinison. I saw Sam at a local college and he had me laughing with tears running down my cheeks from his opening line. By the end of his show, I thought he was a woman hater.

Never been a regular watcher, when I did come across him while channel surfing he seemed like an ass to me, so I kept surfing.

I used to love his "New Rules" at the end of each show. They were brilliant, even though he probably didn't actually write most of them himself. I'm sure he has a team of writers. But lately, even that segment of the show isn't as funny any more.

One thing that really annoys me is the hooting and hollering from his audience. I'm sure he has a paid group of young people who are there every week to keep screaming every time he says anything even mildly funny, or "Woke" . Before smoking pot became legal in CA, every single time he mentioned it, the screaming reaction would turn on. I always felt like saying, "OK, enough already! We know you like to smoke pot! How many more times are you going to tell us?" He finally has let up somewhat on that subject; his new cause is that Americans are too fat. True, but he's kind of fanatic about it.

But I did think the way he dealt with you-know-who was pretty brilliant most of the time. And you-know-who sued him, I think for a million dollars, for saying that his father was an orangutan. And he certainly was right on the mark about how, when the time comes, you-know-who will have to be removed from the White House, kicking and screaming. Kind of an understatement, as it turned out.

I have no time or use for Bill Maher. I don't think he stands for anything other than the legalization of pot and his dislike of organized religion, and he's really not very funny (IMO). I think he's a libertarian more than a progressive, and that's fine, but naïve IMO.

I'd much rather watch John Oliver when I can. I don't get HBO and only catch some of his segments that show up on YouTube. The Daily Show is good sometimes, too.

No, I am not kidding. He left the White House willingly and without force at 10:40 a.m. on 1/20/20. How is that not willingly?
......oh yeah and he went out the door throwing flowers and kisses to Joe Biden, wishing him much success.🙄
