That sounds like it would of course, have been upsetting for you, Katlupe, :confused:

that your friend fell, and especially while in your apartment, and possibly by her mis-guessing which direction Rabbit was going,
but it clearly was not your fault. Very glad she is fine.

You did the right thing, getting her husband right away, too. And she was already sitting up, then...an excellent sign, too!

Maybe, but it is not for me. I am a computer gal! I have a small flat screen that fits on top of my dresser and it is the right size for my apartment. But I mainly watch YouTube on it. Every now and then I will watch a bunch of movies but mostly documentaries.

I managed to do my four loads of laundry today. I dried it in the dryer this time because it makes my apartment too cold at night when it is drying in the bathroom. I cannot let it get that far behind again. I have to do towels and bedding in a few days. Need a break from it for a few days.

Cooking cheeseburgers right now and think I will add some broccoli. Some bread & butter pickles too. This is my easy go-to supper. I buy those frozen ground beef patties and they taste good and are like fast food for me. I have changed a lot of things I do in the kitchen now. To make it easier and simple. I find less fussing, the better. For me at least.

Yes, still piles of snow here and there. I expect much more snow than this. February is always a rough month and March can be a bear. So we shall see. I treasure every day that I can unblock my windows and have sunshine in here.

i do the same ,frozen pattie cheese burgers and broccoli. easy meal im not into cooking.somedays it will be chicken and broccoli.
 
I am doing pretty good on my "no spend" month. Last month I started it but failed. So here I am on the half way point and have not purchased anything unless it was in my budget. Shampoo, conditioner, paper towels and Rabbit's big box of hay. Food did not count in this because that is money that I have put aside in advance. Most months I do not use it all.

Spectrum raised my bill by five dollars. I would not have minded so much if they had let me know in advance. I was lucky it was my "no spend" month because I had the extra. I am not upset about the increase since I have lived here for almost 5 years and had no increase the whole time. Pretty cheap for internet I guess, $19.99 and now up to $24.99.

Yesterday while I was out, it crossed my mind to go to the little coffee shop and have a coffee. But they have all types of goodies, snacks and sandwiches too and I did not want to be tempted. So I was strong and did not give in. Instead I came home and made my normal breakfast. Not only was it better for my health but for my budget too..........since there is no place in my budget for coffee shop purchases.
 
Today was one of those days when I didn't really do much of anything. Talked to Sonny a couple times on the phone. Then my friend called and we made plans for this Friday. I ordered some groceries with Instacart so I could get some good ice cream for my son for his birthday. He was happy so I am glad I did it. Better that then a card.

I try to stay positive but I feel quite low today. So stayed pretty much to myself.

Sonny called me last night to tell me Spud, his co-driver and buddy of 14 years had passed away under his chair. He was a really good dog, very loving and loyal. RIP Spud.

I am so sorry for the loss, so many of us are pet lovers, the unconditional love and support they provide makes such a difference in our lives. You are never alone if you have a much loved animal in your life.

No, he hasn't. Within the last year he has lost many family members and good friends. Now his health is not good and even though he wanted Spud to go before he did, it was not easy to lose him. Now he still has Chichi and Cinnamon.
