One of the things I like about Elon Musk is he hires the brightest intelligence from all over the world, actually turns their designs into practical,
usable innovations to enhance humanity.
I understand these "Boxable" pre-fab homes of upgrade materials sell for as low as $10,000. (Though it looks that the most practical design is around $50,000.)
Not going to buy one because I already have a home but kudos to the great minds that came up with this idea!
I've penciled out ideas for this for years but never got past pencil drawings on napkins. I'm sure many people have had ideas along this line
but just think how this could house low income families all over the world.
I guess he lives in one himself!
He said he has "little interest in material trappings of wealth".
He has taken the whole concept of accumulating possessions, the yearly cruise, the finest vehicles, the biggest house, the most expensive
clothes, jewelry, etc. and turned it upside down. (put it in a different perspective)
We, as a human race, must change our whole way of thinking from "me, me, me" to helping mankind.
Anyway, I just saw these homes on the internet and got excited about the infinite possibilities for low cost housing.
So much intelligence and new, fresh, ideas on this Earth that never get to production.
Thought I'd like to get your opinions.
But please don't turn this into a character bashing thread. OK? Thanks.
