Site suddenly got instantly slow

I’ve been here for most of the day while doing other things. My connection is normally fast. About an hour ago my connection on this site suddenly got slower. Pictures aren’t on posts that normally are and take forever to show up. When I go to click on new posts at the top of the page an orange line keeps going moving across the page but nothing happens.
I’ve turned my connection off and back on, deleted all my cookies and history background. It’s like I’m suddenly tagged.

Anything odd happen to anyone else, site related in the last hour or so?

I have no problems elsewhere ?

Same here; I didn't know if it was just this site or my ISP since they did an "upgrade" recently and therefore everything's been screwy since.

There was a lag for about 15 seconds while a "Like" I entered finally appeared. But that was all.

The page has been going black on me all of a sudden. I just tried to read a thread and it never loaded, I could see a tab at the top of the page just circling. Now I can't find it....but will look again.

It fluctuated for an hour, all normal now.

Thanks for posting the problem, it sounds like a network problem on the server side (not the server itself). I usually just wait for my ISP to fix it, many of their customers should have reported it.

Thank you for explaining that. My paranoia was kicking in . My paranoia often kicks in but NOW I see that many others had similar experiences, so I feel better. Yay!

I click on my notifications and at times it takes a full 15 to 20 seconds to get the post . This slowness has extended to all my online usage. It feels like some type of tracker and tracking device.

Yeah, it is doing that for me too. Especially when trying to put a picture up. I thought it was my computer or connection. Glad it isn't.

I get that ever now and then…..recently, same as many of you….just short spells, then it’s ok.
I have sometimes logged out, and logged in again, and the issue disappears.

I only noticed this site being slow for about an hour last night, this
morning all is back to normal on my end.
